I thought nothing could be worse right now than the Yankees playing on the baseball diamond and then I saw those Red Sox uniforms today.

I'll be up in York County, PA tomorrow. They have some nice, colorful fire departments lined up for us to photo.

My Son lost it when I told him he couldn't go. The poor boy actually believes he wants to go to Pennsylvania. Told him that no one else's kids were going and it would be non-stop driving, taking photos, driving. No food stops, pee breaks, etc. He claims he wants to see fire trucks. This is the boy who gets bored at an hour-long parade and he is going to see fire trucks for 9 hours tomorrow.

I know what they are for, but hey, they are still horrid looking. Just slightly more horrid than the Yankees right now.

Maybe he could take his camera too. Sounds fun.

I have to take the youngest to school the next 3 days for PSSAs. I wish they would have just cancelled.

For less than 2 hours is it really worth it.

I thought about it a little more when I was out yesterday. I think depending on who goes next time, I may take him. There are a few photographers who show up whose humor is high schoolish and like to compare you know what sizes and call each other vulgar names out of fun. It's not that my Son has never heard such language, I don't want to ruin the day for them too thinking they act like themselves.

That's Athena, the Goddess of War.

We don't believe in sissy pet names around here.

Had another great time yesterday. We stopped at 6 fire stations and only 1 of them had red trucks.

I was also able to get a private ambulance and a county ambulance at one of the stations across from a fire station.

So I guess naming your next pet "Boo" is out.

I have my infusion at some point this morning. I will likely sleep through most of it as I was up pretty much all night reading.

Read anything good, I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 and animal farm, I liked animal farm better as Orwell has a much more fluid writing style than Bradbury in Fahrenheit 451 but both books are pretty depressing. Time to read an autobiography or something light for my next book.

Orwell’s memoir “Down and out in Paris and London” is an interesting read, although it’s themes are slightly dour. For a lighter read Michael Caine’s “What’s it all about” is very interesting.
