Is there anyway to tell the approximate print run of the Ja 2019 Prizm Rookie Penmanship Base Autos?

Ceiling = Improves to a high 30's-40% 3 pt shooter, MVP and Grizz to conference finals.
Floor = Lingering injury that keeps him in and out of the lineup and Grizz underperform.

How far the Grizz go in the playoffs will be a function of how much effort Ja puts into improving his defense.

It's quite telling that last year the Grizz were just as good with Tyus Jones starting as they were with Ja starting.

That will be the determining factor in terms of whether Ja stays at the level of Trae Young (i.e. great on offense, horrible on defense) or takes the step up to the level of Steph Curry (who was just as bad defensively early in his career and worked really hard to become an adequate defender).

I think he will improve on 3 point shooting, but agree that he needs to take more pride in his defense and put the work in. I'm not overly optimistic since that doesn't get in the highlights and he seems to be more interested in being flashy and getting attention. Hope I'm wrong though because I like the kid a lot and am highly invested.

When Ja's out there, he'll be incredibly electric and must-see.

Hopefully he can stay healthy. But a lot of smaller guys who relentlessly attack the rim (AI, Wade, Rose) can only sustain it so long before their bodies give out. I think Westbrook might be the exception.

I think it goes beyond his defense - I think Jones is setting up teammates better with his passing while Ja is a freight train heading towards the paint and putting the defense on their heels but more passing out of necessity or when he gets 'stuck'. The Athletic article where it showed every teammate aside from Brooks and Koncar played better with Jones as pg over Ja was quite telling - it's gotta be more than the defense. Though the article also talked about how with Jones, their defense was able to generate a lot more TOs and thus transition buckets. While presumably with Ja, the team defense is worried more about covering his lapses and thus can't generate as many TOs and easy buckets.

I think you are right but I don't think Jones is a better playmaker, I think the ball movement and shot distribution is better with him on the floor. Ja is more likely to over-dribble or hold the ball.

I know the hype is big Z, Luka and the like, but Ja looked pretty damn good himself.
