Those vast majority of experts you're referring to are probably mostly sports anchors, cause I know there are plenty of past and present players who feel differently.

Since the Ball family wants Lonzo in Phoenix, what do you guys think about this hypothetical trade, Lakers trade Lonzo plus Kuzma and this year's draft pick (assuming not getting the 1st or 2nd pick) for Devin Booker? Devin wants out and he's a star player, but not to the level of AD that the Lakers would want to trade the whole team, minus Lebron.

Does Booker want out? Didn't he just sign a big extension to stay in PHX?

Yes, he wants out. The news came out a few weeks ago, the extension was signed last season. Some sports anchor thinks he should wait one more year to see if the suns improve before asking for a trade.

Booker is nice. I would prefer to trade Lonzo and Ingram for Booker and keep Kuzma.

If the Lakers still want to try to trade for AD, they should really go after a 3 team trade since N.O. isn't having it with the Lakers.

It hasn’t even kicked in yet

The extension starts in 2019-20

Lakers aren’t getting Booker. Fact.

The Lakers can’t even pretend to make the money work unless Phoenix is the dumbest team in history and takes back a ton of bad contract

Booker makes way too much

So Magic quits and most of the sport reporters believe that it was because Jeanie didn't want to fire Rob due to his connection to Kobe. Stephen stated that this is the only explanation that made sense to him. What do you guys think? Here's my alternative explanation, Rob wasn't the only unmovable figure in the organization, maybe Magic wanted to trade Lebron and Jeanie was hesitant, especially since they won't get back much from the trade? Or maybe it's the other way around. Just throwing potential alternatives.

Stephen a smith?
Worrying about how kobe feels is a horrible basketball decision if true.
I think he quit because he realized bronbron has ALL the power and didn't want to waste his time/reputation. Plus Dodgers are playing.

I'm a little weary of the Lakers hiring Howard as a head coach. I think they just need a more senior coach with some experience as a head coach and perhaps a little older to get the respect of the players. Really also think Pelinka should go as well.

Just scratch the whole thing and take the mulligan with experienced front office folks and coaches.

LeBron won't stand for an older experiences head coach. He wants his guys that let him run the show.
Or at least he hasn't so far.

So the Clippers now have as many playoff wins (1) as Lebron does the past 2 seasons (1-8)

Took a 73 win team adding God to beat the king

Sorry, keep hearing about how hard it is to beat the warriors but the Clippers managed one win in 2 games and Lebron managed one win in two years. That’s all.

Lebron won the big one. Lebron>73-9. It’s gotta be exhausting being obsessed with something you hate.

Lebron, Kyrie, Love > Steph, Klay, Draymond

Agreed

1-8 the past two years though

It’s not exactly exhausting but more like entertainment when you all talk up his competition like it’s the dream team but Beverly and Lou ain’t scared. I wonder how bad Lebron could make the Clippers in one year.

Hey, no losses to them This year in the playoffs!

For reals tho, comparing the fluke that was the clippers win to bronbron is kinda crazy. Dudes a tool, but he has still won before. Do the clippers even have a ring?

Also Steph and klay won before Durant showed up too
He's the real loser in this whole mess.

So Williams and Lue getting 2nd interviews with the Lakers. Why not just end this joke everyone knows James pet coach Lue will get job so Coach Killer James can run this team just like he does everywhere he goes. Might as well just officially name him player, coach, GM, and team president with option to buy team once he retires.

I'm shocked it's not down to J. Howard and T. Lue.

Lakers are in an awful spot. Hire Lue and then you're basically Bron's b*tch. Hire Monty and you get another season of LeBron sulking.

You can't make this stuff up.

You're being super generous here.

LeBron, Kyrie and Love were down 3-1 to Steph, Klay and Dray. The hatchet job from the leagye and the refs to get LeBron that series was Lakers 00s worthy.

I wouldn't say that. The Knicks management are just incompetent, no other teams out there are trying to sabotage them. The Lakers failures are in part internal and in part external, since other teams are trying to prevent the Lakers from getting any success.

Coach Pop telling Pelicans not to trade AD to the Lakers, various organizations telling Tyron Lue and Monty to turn down the job offer, etc.
