Ditto - Someone purchased two Ben Ball Kikuchi cards way back in January and I got the return notes today.

So, Tim's line about them eating the cost of returns due to cancellation/non-shipment is BS.

I just got one back too and that was my first thought as well.

Academic in my case since the cheapest on the site was 33% lower than I sold it for (also a cheap card so no big deal as long as this isn't the first of a wave).

This is going to get uglier before it gets better.
I like comc, love the ability to pick up old and new commons cheaply (and the odd bargain on slightly bigger cards) but their comms is third-rate. Every company knows you get out ahead of a crisis - that way you have some control over the narrative.
Otherwise we’ll just fill the void with five comments in a row about four-month delayed returns….

I emailed UD about the shipping situation today since I'm still waiting on a $700 card that is about three weeks overdue. Got the usual "We asked COMC to make it a priority" response. I replied that they can't just absolve themselves of responsibility by pointing the finger at COMC, that this has been going on for months and all they do is deflect blame, and that they bear responsibility for it, as well, and need to do something about it. I received this delightfully snippy reply:

"Our management team is in contact with COMC on a daily basis in an effort to get these issues resolved as quickly as possible. COMC’s facility is under a state mandated “Shelter in Place” order. They are working to get all orders out as soon as they can. Thank you again for your patience."

I don't expect I'll be seeing my card anytime soon....

I have one 3 week order due 4/16 of 139 cards due with not a single card listed. I had 3 other 3 week orders due that day as well and they are almost complete. Does anyone else have an order due that far back with no cards listed yet? I have emailed but of course no response.

Yea, this is a load of nonsense...there are no "Shelter in Place" orders in Washington at this point, and the State Government plans to open the state fully by the end of June. If UD isn't physically on the premises, then there's nothing they can do but wait for COMC to figure it out.

Returning to COMC for 2 exact cards, got credited only for 1. Sneaky bastards, they sent me 2 cards in 1 package when I received from COMC a month ago. Then it takes 1 week to get an approved return. When I got the return shipping label from eBay (COMC), I sent them 2 cards in 1 package. I saw a refund for only 1. I can't believe they try to pull a fast one.

Estimated ship date was 4/27? Not even a month past due yet. I remember when I received my shipment from them back around March, it was a good six weeks past the estimated ship date before they shipped, that would be early June for you.

Shelter in Place? That's still a thing? I thought that particular thing was ended months ago, and pretty much every COVID excuse that COMC could have had via Washington state ended within the last few weeks?

It hasn't been a thing in almost a year. Just deflection from UD because they know they forked up by relying completely on COMC and they don't have a solution.

Dang that's crazy. I thought maybe since I ordered it wayyyyy back in December, they'd actually be ahead of time, not behind it. Ugh.

I even emailed them to try and cancel the order and I got no response. It's been so long that I'd actually like to sell a few of them instead of shipping them home lol.

I had two Economy Rushed ship out today - one was originally due 5/18 and the other is shipping early by three days!

I'll also share that they refunded the Economy Shipping on my three prior late orders after I included the word REFUND in my email - it was the first response I received after trying to contact them about seven times before.

Good news! We have closed the case in your favor.

Got to give credit to eBay. It took only 5 minutes of chatting online then wait for approval. I wasn't pushy, I simply stated my case. Actually COMC contacted me to credit me before eBay's decision later today. I may go back to COMC, just maybe.
