I got the same delay notice yesterday, hadn’t even left California yet. Guess FedEx flights are delayed cancelled causing a backup.

Dang my bulk order was flying, but has now been stuck in assembly for 2 weeks. Crazy how impatient I'm getting when a year ago my cards wouldn't have even been logged at this point lol

Mine finally got out of CA a few hours ago and is in Memphis, so I'll consider that progress.

I was surprised that value bulk at 19 dollars is 20 card minimum
I thought it was 25 before that is nice to see the minimum may have come down

Mine has been like this since Tuesday. Supposed to deliver today, but obviously not going to happen.. bummer!

It was probably a 10 and then they decided to bump it down

Order Type: $18 Value Bulk (1980-Present)
# of cards: 22

Grading: 12/1/22

11 cards Gem 10 (50%)
9 cards - Mint 9
2 cards - NM/MT 8

Order Type: $15 Bulk
# of cards: 166
Order delivered: 11/21/22
Order received per PSA: 11/23/22
Research & ID: 12/9/22
Grading: 12/23/22
Assembly:1/9/22
QA1:1/16/22
QA2: 1/25/22
Grades:2/1/22

This one was pretty brutal.
17% Gem Rate -28 cards
60% Mint 9 - 100 cards
14% NM/M 8 - 23 cards
1% NM 7 - 2 cards

Both orders were shipped to PSA in Newport Beach at the same time. The bulk $15 order of 166 cards has tracking coming back to me from NJ. I didn't take much time to inspect the 22 card sub and ended up getting better results on that one. I spent a lot of time inspecting and being picky with the 166 card sub and got hammered. Oh well :P

Update, mine moved from local delay in Cali to now a local delay in Memphis. The delivery was somewhere in the middle of the two locations..

There was a multi-day ice storm in Memphis, and since well more than 50% of FedEx packages are routed through their hub there, everything has been delayed.

Giant annoyance, and it would be nice if the tracking just said that, but it is what it is. Everything seems to be moving now. Annoyed because I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, so I had it held at one location near where I am this weekend, but now it won't be here until tomorrow or Tuesday, so I'm gonna have to trek back here just to pick it up

Good to know, thanks. I’m in NM. I’ve never had any packages move through Memphis from California. Hopefully it’ll be delivered sometime this week!

Dropped off 113 1980 newer Baseball cards and 20 Dual Service Auto cards @ PSA booth in Houston yesterday. 02/04/2023.
PSA employee was very helpful! Show was well attended.

It's truly insane. I am finally now having one of my orders from over 3 months ago sent back to me ungraded. $30 a card service. Hard to trust PSA when they get their fill at $30 orders, only to offer a $15 service to push all of those to the back of the line. Then when you question what is going on, they state that the service you requested was 120 business days.

In no world is it ethical to offer an expedited service and then return the slower services first while stating that the expedited service has such and such estimated time. Each service tier in theory pushes the slower services further back, not the opposite. It shouldn't ever happen.

What PSA is doing is unethical at best, scam at worst. They aren't to be trusted.

3 month return for $30 subs within the stated TAT of 120 business days is a scam? Lol

I get that it sucks to see cheaper subs coming back quicker but that doesn’t equate to a scam, give me a break.

Personally I think your chances are better if you crack and send raw as opposed to trying to cross just from what I’ve read. I’ve never done a crossover but even cracking out nice PSA9’s and sending them back I’ve had decent luck.

Agree. It was a CSG slab that's crystal clear, so maybe I was just optimistic.

One corner was maybe borderline. If it was raw, I'd have sent it for sure with the thinking that it could gem, but might not. I wasn't confident enough to crack, so I'll settle for the failed crossover and keep it a '10' in another holder. That was my logic on this particular one.

Agree 100%. Over the years I've had much better success cracking. I recently purchased a BGS card to flip and I forgot just how bad the quality is on the inner sleeve. It was very cloudy and there was so much fuzz, debris, and tiny crumbs inside the case I realized it would be impossible to evaluate the card's condition for a crossover. I know people look at subgrades to determine possible crossover success, but that doesn't mean anything when you can't really get a good look at the card through the case.

I second that. I do not exaggerate when I say that I have cracked PSA 9s to send to BGS and received Pristine 10s before.
