I bought a Sophia Chang from him on the 11th and got to me on the 16th. I have a Jamieson Henderson pending. Responsive and no issues so far

I have two cards left: Beck Griffey for $460 and Ichiro Ermsy for $920. PM me if you want either.

One interesting thing about this set is it does feel immune to their being no baseball since outside of Trout everyone is retired, its pretty much all nostalgia.

Could this be the set that that breaks all the molds? Absolutely. Would I put my $7K up on that, which is what I’d have to commit to undertake it, no I wouldn’t so I didn’t.

I love that money is pouring into this and taking some of the shine off other things that I collect and I hope it continues so I can get cards I like more for cheaper than I should as money pours into this.

As it stands Topps has printed 500,000+ cards. If everybody got in at $15 they’ve generated $7.5M already. That’s an awesome achievement!
There's the good/positive vibe Geech we were looking for

Really enjoyed Efdot's Live Stream last night. He has a great attitude and a neat story. Makes the card's way more personal.

I am curious what you mean by history of cards? I have many cards that sell for more than the lowest print runs of this project sell for. 1952 was the first topps set correct? How much would that set cost today?

A negative dropped for a seller who refunded and relisted at a higher price was gone today. I am fuming. Sent Ebay a message requesting an investigation.

Topps is gonna have to put all those Griffey's in just sleeves and toploaders, forget the 100K magnetics...

I wonder how many ppl are really going for the complete set?

Only 1065 max is possible, but I'm sure there are a good number of people just collecting Beck and a decent (handful?) number of people just collecting Gooden.

Maybe 6-700 complete sets?

I was thinking 100 or less total sets when all is said and done.

I think that's the best way for me to play. So in other words, I'm bunting.

It looks sharp. Don C has a big following. We will see how many investors today hoping for quick money and realizing the reality of the situation decide enough is enough.

The GaryVee/Blake Jamieson pump is occurring on Friday (supposedly) so that might cause an influx late Friday morning on Don C sales.

Like most have been saying, buckle up this is going to be a fun ride.

Nope. You missed this:

And the Shore Griffey got 99k problems but TBP ain’t one.

That’s about it.

Probably less. I have a Beck Gooden. Not trying to complete Beck or Gooden run, just felt like I needed to get one when PR’s started picking up. Probably won’t have the kinda cash to fill the rest that I need for full set, but not letting it go until the ceiling is hit. I’d guess maybe 4-500 max.

This is gonna be a big deal with Ebay..They need to be made aware of what is going on and quit removing neg feedback for these Deadbeat sellers..How to do that is the problem

Mentioned this before:

If its a Power Seller you have to wait 7 days. The phone app may let you submit the feedback right away but it errors out and never posts.

Good Luck

It wasn't. The feedback was there for a couple days but the seller complained about "exploiting" the listing...I provided 2 and a half hours of sales after mine showing the card didn't move until after that timeframe. We shall see what happens. I escalated to a manager.

Complete sets are going to be difficult for most to compile based on the fact there was still massive hoarding on early low PR releases. Hell, Ben stated there were already 600+ sales accounted for on his Ichiro between him and a single follower.

That's why I firmly believe PR is going to be the biggest value factor going forward, especially for SP's.

Unless there's a major dynamic shift where the 1xxx PR's drop into the $2xx-3xx range, the set is going to be out of reach for most.

One might say in 2080 they would rather have prjt 2020 than a 52T high number card. Just like id rather have a 52T high number than some random t206.
