Bear S2 was great, finally got around to watching it last night. Episode 6 was even better than last year's standout ep.

I enjoyed the ep6 cameos, Chef Terry was the biggest surprise for me though.

Speaking of cameos, Dave S3 had a pretty great one.

I'm burning through Suits right now myself. Had watched the first couple seasons when it was on and then dropped off for some reason, but I'm loving it.

I forgot how great Louis Litt was, his back and forth between happy/angry in the middle of scenes is always fun, just an outstanding acting job.

Funny thing is that he also went to Arizona and I found that out literally about an hour or so before I was watching an episode where Jessica takes a jab at the school in a conversation with Louis. If I had seen that before knowing, I'd have been furious at the joke at our expense of all schools they could have chosen, but knowing he's an alum made it absolutely hilarious to me.

The Witcher season 3 is out but only the first 5 episodes.

Other 5 come out late July.

Got about 3 episodes in on Dead Loch but the alphabet group’s agenda is about as subtle as the moon falling on your head.

Watched the 5 part docuseries on American Gladiators on Netflix. Really enjoyed it. Then again, I was a big fan of the first few seasons when the show originally aired.

I'm gonna catch that at some point.
The ESPN 30 for 30 series just had a two-part documentary on "American Gladiators" as well. I've only seen the first part, but that was pretty good.

I did the same

Interesting to see what was really going on

My brother and I were glued to the TV back in the day anytime Gladiators was on

Really enjoyed Season 1 of "Is It Cake", and was happy to tune in this week for S2. Two things absolutely ruined this season for me:

1) The judges failed to lock in their choices not once, not twice, but THREE times, giving the bakers an automatic advance to the next round.

2) In episode three, one of the bakers decides that she can't make a realistic enough cake, so she starts altering the decoys to make them look less real. Every episode from there on out then features at least one baker destroying the decoys rather than trying to create a realistic cake.

I know this sounds ridiculous haha, but the whole point of the show is to see who can bake these ridiculous, realistic cakes and instead we have people using loopholes and luck to advance.

Everybody loves Raymond.

A 90's classic, always a joy to rewatch.

Same. I still have my ticket stub from when my brother and I saw them live in Cincinnati back in '91!

I also got jury duty (we'll see if I actually have to go on August 7th).

I actually want to be on a jury so of course I won't get on it...

I loved Jury Duty though and was SO thrilled it got 4 impressive Emmy nominations.

James Marsden had a decent shot to get nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy but it was far from a sure thing. So I'm happy he finally is at worst, 'Emmy nominee James Marsden' now. Put some respect on his name!

But the other three nominations it got for Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Writing, and Best Comedy Casting were amazing and show that the voters actually watched and loved the show.

Watching The Blacklist has been the opposite of binging, but after 10 years and 218 episodes it wrapped up Thursday.

The first half of the finale was great, the second half was....something. I won't spoil it if someone's still waiting to watch it, but you could have given me 1000 guesses on how it was going to end and I wouldn't have gotten it.

Since my last post on the previous page I binged The Bear Season 2 a day or two when it dropped all at once. It was good especially E6 and E7.

I also did watch all episodes of Extrapolations. It was fine but depressing for the most part.

I finally started to watch Season 3 of Dead to Me a couple days ago. I will try to finish it this week since I stopped for a couple days after watching 4 episodes of the 10.

Unless something changes I probably will start Andor after Dead to Me since it did get nominated for a lot of important Emmy awards (Drama Series, Drama Writing, and Drama Directing) and I heard great stuff overall.

It may be Christina Applegate's swan song, at least from working regularly, unfortunately, due to her medical condition. I hope she wins the Emmy. She really was terrific on that show. The ceremony was originally planned for September 18th, but could be delayed by the strike(s).

We've been watching "Yellowstone" on Peacock+, and are mostly through the 2nd season. I could see that it was basically a "Godfather" story right away. The Tyler Sheridan dialogue is crackling, as usual. Glad to have several more seasons of this on the watchlist, especially if new content starts running low this fall. Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, all are standouts.

Also just finished "Dark Winds" Season 1 on AMC based on the Leaphorn and Chee novels by Tony Hillerman starring the great Zahn McLarnon. Not bad at all, and Season 2 premieres in two weeks, on July 30th.

"Justified: City Primeval" featuring the return of U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, begins tomorrow night. I don't watch a whole lot of stuff twice (since I usually get it the first time), but I might be revisiting the original series, especially if Boyd Crowder doesn't make it into the new show (but I hope he does, even a cameo'd be all right.)

I finished it this morning. I liked it but am sad it ended and especially on a cliffhanger.

I would like to see her win the Emmy on this final nomination but who knows because that Comedy Lead Actress category is very hard to predict. I've not seen Wednesday so I would hope they wouldn't go for Ortega but the show got nominated for Comedy Series and Comedy Directing among other top categories so it could happen.

Sadly Christina's nomination is the only one for Dead to Me so that likely means she has no real shot. At least I can't remember a time when a leading performance won when it was the only nomination a show got.

Rachel and Quinta's were the only other nominees beside Ortega to be in shows also up for Comedy Series (since Natasha's show Poker Face missed out) so it will probably be one of them.

Looking for some new shows to watch as I've completed almost everything from this season and new seasons of anything likely not happening until late 2024 with the writers/actors strike.

I'm kinda all over the place with what I like but these are a few

The Good Doctor ( Hate Grey's Anatomy and The Resident)

Yellowstone and it's sequals

Tulsa King

Comic related stuff ( Superman/Lois, Flash, Titans etc... )

S.W.A.T

FBI

Anything along those lines.

Watched The Rescue on Hulu. It's about the Thai soccer team that was rescued from system of caves after they were stuck. I would HIGHLY recommend it.

I love documentaries and such, but after a few weeks of watching them, I like to watch mindless stuff for awhile.

Currently, I am binging season 14 of married at first sight. totally worthless/junk television, but a fun way to wind down before bed.

Re-watching Fringe. Forgot how good the first few seasons were.
