Vintage has cooled a little bit but not nearly as much as modern. I've been watching low grade 52 Mantles and it basically jumped up a couple months ago and has stayed flat since. Maybe high grade has dropped more?

Yep, it's definitely more between 60/40 - 70/30. I was also a bit surprised but everything else was perfect. I'll take the lucky break. I've had too many grade the other way.

It's not too late to buy.

I know... that sounds insane when you look at current prices. Just look at the start he is off to this season. Keep in mind he is only 29 and won't turn 30 for about 4 more months (8/7/21). Barring injury he still has 3-4 more Prime seasons left...not including this one. We might see a decline starting with the 2026 season... a decline for Trout will still be a very solid season.

What's people's opinion on cards that came from packs in factory sets? Less appealing? Not my card mind you, but I've been watching it awhile. 2012 Topps Update Orange Trout. Only one listed period in any grade. It's gem mint. I feel like this should have been bought long ago. All the other parallels are doing well. Leaves me one, wanting to buy it and two wondering if those type of cards just aren't appealing. I only can go off foilboards in my experience and those sell well.
