That's clearly not what I said, but okay. It's one thing to understand the business, it's another thing to actually possess that synergistic match. If you're that bent on him becoming a Yankee, I won't burst your bubble any further.

Whether Ohtani wants to play for the Yankees or not is just one part of the equation of him going to New York. If the Yankees don't trade Stanton, they won't have a DH spot open for Ohtani since Stanton can't play the field without getting injured.

His left hand bat would play really well for homeruns in Yankee stadium. Imagine the homerun totals of Judge, Ohtani, healthy Rizzo, Soto, and Dominguez in that lineup.

I'd love it if he became a Ranger, since I'm in DFW. From a hobby perspective, Dodgers probably provides the biggest realistic bump. Yankees would bump value the most, but I really don't think they have a shot here.

The photoshopped images are usually on cards that were printed/released early in the season, since they do not have time to get pics from the actual games.

Yeah, employee autos were given out at Christmas time. Would have been after he had TJS and ample images were available. Makes sense.

The elbow guard is indeed a giveaway - if I'm not mistaken, even when they wore whites or grays in 2018, he always wore red sleeves and elbow guard.

EXCEPT during Spring Training! That shot came from their March 11 game against the Rangers.
