r/art has 17.7M members. How many mentions of P2020? I think you could guess the answer.

I don’t doubt the cross over appeal, and I love the set. I just don’t see the Falcon 9s lined up to take us to Mars.
So as negative as you've been about the Project, you actually bought some?

Seems like everyone thinks the cards they own should be the ones to rise.

I think ultimately it will come down to PR because supply will satiate demand for larger releases. PR should absolutely be the primary driving force, especially once it's all said and done and clectors have 400 different artistic variants to choose from. Sub 3k PR's are the only cards I'll be spending a dime on for earlier releases, despite the unpopular opinion.

You're saying that scarcity drives value? Hot take.

My seller said he shipped my Taylor Henderson yesterday, but the tracking still hasn't updated, is that typical?

The level of demand never ceases to amaze me with this product.

Tons of Griffey Shores and Ryan Vides listed at auction - bids across the board approaching $20 per. We'll see where they sell at.

When I list something for sale OBO on ebay, I get 5 offers per hour and it always sells quick.

Well, that doesn't seem like too mainstream an opinion based on the past few hundred pages.

I think it's a little bit of both. Give me the biggest names with the lowest possible PRs.

I think it’s safe to assume selling through 99,000 Griffey Shores is going to be a tough task...

Good! The Thiele should be the 2nd most expensive Trout. Print run determines price

That'll look like a good buy in 3 months.

How have I been negative? Nobody can answer that.

I’ve bought 0. I’ll buy in 5 years when the set is forgotten about and just see what I can pay for cards 1-400. I suspect I’ll be in for the buy-in price if not less.

"there will be not cards numbered 91 through 400 that will ever sell for $50 (or higher) on the secondary market"

You're right.

Would I personally rather have a Gooden Beck over an Ermsy Trout projecting 5 years into the future? Absolutely. That's 2,000 less potential competing sellers and possible set clectors at my disposal.
