Yeah, the 2018 Topps Mini set didn't come close to selling out. I think it was pegged for the ~286 mark (for each base card) and it ended up at 150 per base card. This threw all the inserts and color parallels way out of whack.

The pink that are supposed to be #d to /25 only ended up having 12 printed. The green /10 only ended up having 5 printed. And the 1983 inserts only ended up having 9 of each made.

I was buying packs like a mad man even at $99 until Blowout pulled the plug and "Out of Stocked" it. It's the complete 1,002 card set, Series 1, 2 and Update. For someone like myself who loves true rarity it was the greatest release and best bang-for-your-buck in years.

Damn I wish they would put more packs up for sale.

His TCU Rookie Debut is white hot. A PSA 10 pink just sold for $525. I get that most of his card depict him pitching and this one is him hitting but, I mean, really?

That aspect does make his cards nice to collect - massive variety. I think I will start looking for a fielding and a base-running card amidst the flood.

Has anyone toted up his average days between Pitching appearances lately? I don’t follow the Angels on a daily basis and the most common phrase about that idea is always “next start pushed back.”

Word around the campfire before the season started was that he was going to pitch every 6 days to make it more like pitching in Japan. He hasn't been healthy enough to string together three straight "normal" starts but when he's been healthy he's been true to that plan -- pitching once every six days.

I'm not sure if Trout #2 and Ohtani #3 is just a one time thing or something Maddon intends to do going forward, but personally I really like it. Trout gets on base a lot more than Ohtani, so hopefully more of these Ohtani solo HRs can turn into 2-run HRs
