On a tangent, I think his 2018 Team Set card with him batting is underrated. It is tough to find in good condition. Most of the ones in PSA 10 holders don't even look like they are in mint condition. They are about $500 for a PSA 10 with a total population of 196.

Have you looked at sold prices? I have one, and bought it because its low pop and hard to gem, but it easily took a 30%+ dip since I picked it up in June. They go for $200 nowadays.

Some nice steals! Love the autos on the GQ.

I feel like there was a period where Ohtani prices were precipitously dropping, followed by inventory for high end going dry. Most likely people decided to hold till spring training. Hopefully a few more deals pop up. Here was my get.

I don't think I'm going to risk it on this one. These were tough to grade as-is rattling around at the end of the complete set box. I also can't get a good read on the corners due to the BGS baggie.

I sure do miss the days when the worst (least scarce) parallel you could get was a gold out of 50.

While I know that Shohei said after turning pro that the essence of baseball (for him) is strikeouts and homers,
I think eventually, he will pitch like this;
He is too great of a baseball mind not to.
