Ended up buying some more Brett Gardner and Jordan Montgomery cards and cashed at 271.

I'll probably put some more money in the account in late December and see about purchasing more 2020 Yankee cards from later sets.

Thankfully the Board of Education voted 5-2 to move school into Phase 2. This means my Son gets to go back to the actual school building on November 9th.

I just got back from my local gastroenterologist. We just spit-balled on some ideas for 15-20 minutes. While there he sent an email to my gastroenterologist in Gainesville wondering if I should see an immunologist up there to figure out the underlying cause to the infusion reactions I have had since the middle of last year. It appears a treatment has been figured out for the symptoms, but only those.

Most of my health issues are 3+ standard deviations from the norm that I have once again volunteered to be a guinea pig for the doctors to figure out what the deal is. If my issues can help doctors figure out my issues for the benefit of someone else, then it is all good in my eyes. At this stage of my life (I am 50+), that is the best thing I can hope for.

I'm sure you guys will make fun of me for this but K got scammed. She's been out of work since January and a scam took advantage of that. Job offer with a check sent for an approved vendor for office equipment. It's not a good situation. She's going to her bank this morning to see what they can do.

She did and it seemed off but then I was gone Saturday (visiting my mom who had knee replacement) and that's when she did the bank stuff without me knowing the full details (money transfer after the check "cleared" and made out to a different company). Legit local company, person she corresponded with had a legit LinkedIn profile but it was all a ruse.

No - they overnight you a check to buy office equipment to start training. You deposit the check, your bank gives you the funds - you transfer the funds to the "office supply company" and then the initial check bounces which you then owe the bank. We feel really stupid to fall for it. A google search shows it's a common scam.

yea - unfortunately, that is an old scam.

hope it works out for her, but if not, maybe she could contact that prince guy who is always emailing an offer to share his money with you
