No wonder you can’t comprehend my posts, nothing nonsensical about them. I said the games might not matter to Boone or the organization but they mean something to the fans. As far as judge I agreed with shutting him down once they were out of it but since he has been playing why take him out of a game that could have playoff implications for 3 other teams.

15-8 in September. Yankees have the best record in baseball since late August. Hmmm maybe calling the kids up brought juice into the lineup. Our dumbass brain trust waited too long or we would be in the playoffs.

The same thing happened last September when they brought up Peraza and Cabrera. They didn't exactly hit .300, but the team did better. I'd like to look at the pitching stats and my guess is this is the real reason they have done better in September. Rodon has pitched some really good games instead of being crushed, no Severino getting crushed, King and Brito combine to be a good pitching team, and Holmes hasn't gotten rocked. I'm betting this is the real reason they are winning more lately because the offense still isn't out there with 6+ runs a game.

4 more stinking wins and they could’ve been In the race for a wildcard spot 84-73 would’ve had them one game away with five left.

In your eyes probably not since you seem to like to take the opposite approach to everything I post.

You’re crazy4kinsler level clueless.
The games may be meaningless standings-wise, but Judge is the Captain and the leader of the team. He says he wants to continue playing. The fans want to see him play. What difference is not being 100% healthy going to change at this point in the season? The man hit 3 homeruns in one game while not being 100%. Let him give the fans and himself what he wants. Unless he re-injures the toe or injures something else, it will have zero affect on him getting healthy for spring training next year. They've already confirmed he doesn't need surgery.

Great job of Cole to get out of that small threat.

Cole has been amazing through 5. I can't wait until he gets his first Cy Young.

2 hits through 7 - both by Belt....only 2 baserunners for the Jays.

Cole's pitch count is great and this is his last start of the season. If he breezes through the 8th, I hope Boone leaves him in for a complete game.

They wanted nothing to do with Judge that at bat again.

If the Cy Young wasn't sealed already, he did it tonight.
