Ah. Well in that case, neither. But I’ll look into the print run real quick. I’m guessing the masses would value the base 9 higher than the gold 8 but I could be totally wrong

The golds come 1 per pack in both hobby and retail formats. Based on the blue /499 pull rates, there should’ve be 8,483 golds produced. I’d say the base 9 would be better

I’d go with the gold, it is an extremely underrated card and very condition sensitive.

Anybody get the final prices on the Goldin Auction last night for the 2009 BC Ref Auto, Target Red, 2011 TU Gold and Walmart Blue?

The last I checked I saw the Gold True Gem was at $18k before BP!! Think i saw the Target Ref BGS 9.5 at $24k...

I don’t have exacts but I did watch most of them end last night. Was a little surprised to see where some ended, they didn’t get much action in extended bidding. 09 BC ended at 36, target red at 26 and blue at 12, those numbers are before buyers premium.
According to 130point a red 9.5 accepted best offer on eBay a few weeks ago at 42.5. I thought the red last night would be a bit higher.

I was watching the TU black, that had a fair bit of action during extended bidding and went pretty long. Ended at $101K, so $121K with buyer's premium.

I think the target red and walmart blue underperformed a bit compared to the other trout's but those are strong prices across the board. That black in particular. Thanks for pulling it together.

The Cognac was a min GEM... did have a 10... a 9 as well

The 11,600 was a Quad 9.5, 13,000 GEM+ with 10 centering.

wow...i've never even entertained the idea of selling my diamond, but seeing those numbers kinda moves the dial just a little bit. If only our house downpayment wasn't so far off...
