COMC will blame you for opening the box incorrectly...perhaps they will send you a link to a video on how to open a box

If I bought a couple of cards from a seller who doesn't opt into selling on eBay and then priced them to resell, would they get added to my cards being cross-listed on eBay?

So I submitted cards to be processed and 6 of them popped a few nights ago and the rest popped last nite on the due date. It said 335 items waiting on me. I didn't pay attention and figured I'd work on them this morning. Pulled out my list to start pricing and see I submitted 320. I'm thinking ok .... maybe I missed some? So I start pricing and come across a couple cards that aren't mine! I leave them blank and continue on and find a few more.

There's some pretty decent cards, not too expensive but nice. Then I come across 2 Select 1/1 jersey cards from Basketball... Someone is probably stressing right now!

I'm not doing anything until I get the rest of my stuff priced and get a full count (looks to be 15) and do what I have to do to get them to the rightful owner.

So question - what do I do to get them to the rightful owner? Do I have to call, email or is there a button I can click?

This happened to me about a year ago. I only received one card that wasn't mine but all I did was email them about it and left it untouched. Took about 3 days before it was removed from my account but they said they got it to the right person. But with emails getting worse who knows how that would go now

Yes. At some point. May be same day, may be months later.

Thanks. I ended up just calling them. He told me to email the item numbers to him so I did. 22 items in total, most will end up being the only ones on site. I figure around $300-$400 worth of stuff including the 2 1/1's and a few /10's and some pretty nice patch cards!

So if you're missing some cards, don't fret precious they're on their way! lol

Just relisted the card for 30.00.

Asked them to review the card . I see the orange in the middle of the card . But no damaged corners.

It also looks like its graded ?
UPDATE !!

I let them look at the card , paid the 2 bucks, it came back Excellent-Mint.

I called and explained that the original owner probally donated the card to there charity account because of the bent corner conditions note. I told them I didnt want the the card and the should put this card back in the senders port with a little note that says they screwed up. Unless they have given this card a new item number nothing has happened.

I Was a huge supporter. I have bought over 185,00 cards But Im done.

Jeez. It certainly seems like COMC is going out of their way to alienate customers / make people not want to send cards in.

Sorry to see you go, and you are right on the Ebay sales. COMC should at least throw a small store credit bone to us for every card sold on Ebay/Amazon. Last month they sold a Malkin UD card on Ebay and I had listed for a nickel. I understand that they have moved some illiquid stuff for all of us, but something should be done for sellers with the stuff sold on Ebay that's listed under a quarter .

Wow. The card I had put in my account by mistake was a 1990's hockey, never bought hockey so I knew for sure it wasn't mine. But I think I checked to see what account it got deposited in to and it was listed for $1.50. Having that many higher end cards definitely had someone on edge. That's insane.

It's been failing for me all day trying to buy out most from brewcrew. I've clicked accept about 50 times and so far two have worked, and still have one port to attempt to close out.

So you're saying you turned down Jessica Alba? Player! ;-)

Now after buying 14,000 of brewcrew's cards, I really wish they'd fix the bulk pricing tool.

I am in the same boat. Two days ago I sent a request to send all my higher end stuff back to me ($520 in shipping fees). Most of the rest is currently 50% off. I will send in my last few $1-$3 cards but that's it. The nickel and diming is too much. I get that COMC is a business that needs to make money but it's way too inconsistent in service and consistency.

If anyone wants 37,000+ cards, lmk. I am not looking for top dollar but I will not sell for pennies.

Do they use the same grading scale as PSA/BGS? Isn't EX-MT a PSA/BGS 6?

Thats not my point. The card shouldnt of been listed as damaged.

The original owner probally wouldnt have donated the card to there charity account.

And once being informed of there error they should have given the original owner his card back.

I've directly asked in the past and was told they use the PSA grading criteria on their site.

My question about having cards returned that are clearly NrMint+ despite being told that cards NrMint+ would be listed went unanswered...twice.

This thread is really fantastic, thank you for those who have contributed to providing info for those of us who are just starting with COMC (or haven't started yet).

My goal is to get rid of about 1000 cards. Mostly values of $1-$5.
Is the best way to actually sell these just under pricing them?
I have no emotional attachment to these cards, I just want them gone.
Any advice/recommendations are appreciated!

Price them lowest on site. Look at the sales history - if it's something that sells often and recently, make it just barely the cheapest copy. If it's something that rarely sells, make it cheapest by a wide margin. Good luck!
