lol is all. Not even worth the effort with a miserable lawyer. Those $1.99 eBay listings say it all. Have fun chasing ambulances and making the world better, Jeff!

I love the Ted Williams by Ermsy too.
I think he is the most "controversial" artist in this set when it comes to people's preference over the artwork.
People either love it, or hate it.

In all seriousness, I am totally kidding. These cards are exciting because they give all of us a chance to debate and talk a lot about something new/different in the hobby. Overall, I still don’t like a lot of the cards. But I am fascinated by the randomness of it all and I am enjoying the discussion.

I am a fan of the surrealists and would love to see one artist go Salvador Dali on one of these cards.

I'm in love with the Williams. My favorite since the Emrsy Trout. Just an awesome / weird take on such an iconic card to a Boston kid. That being said...

Anyone have a Trout or Ichiro Emrsy for sale? Hit a brother up. PayPal ready to go.

Saw the Ermsy Trout doing well in the beginning, grabbed 10 packs of a bunch of cards starting with the Ichiro Ermsy and went 1/1 hunting on the Griffey Tyson Beck (no luck with 50), Derek Jeter by Matt Taylor (80 coming in) and Jackie Robinson by Blake (30 coming in). Hoping to hit one haha

Bowman would have been great! I wasn't planning on it, but I think I will pepper in a few Griffey designs that really pop while they are affordable. Griffey is one who could get out of hand quick.

The Williams popped up a few weeks ago in an online article, and I have seen his Griffey also on the web which is amazing.

Originally just going for Trout but seeing Williams / Griffey made me want to go after the whole set, which in turn 'forced' my hand to grab another Ermsy Trout. Luckily I was able to snag a Red artist auto before they sold out!!

I've seen an uptick on all the early ones. I attribute some of that to the print runs of the early ones compared to the Trout Ben Baller.

I was actually trying to check on my order for the 1st edition bowman cards I ordered and the site was super slow. So I figured they were going live and they were. Just got lucky. I've tried for every card, but this was the first time getting one.

Ok, I went through the list and pictures again to see if I was wrong upon first evaluation.

Ermsy art is crap and he's lucky there are people with 'subjective taste' since art is 'subjective'. I Google'd him to see what his other stuff looked like. Yep, it's what I thought it would be. BAAARRRFFF

Keith Shore should be embarrassed. If his goal was to get paid doing the least amount of work - mission (almost) accomplished because then there are ...

Oldmanalan and Fucci. Lazy AF artists. Pathetic. Stunningly pathetic. No effort. They got paid? Oldmancraponacanvas sales: Rivera/1127, Koufax/2488, Gwynn/1302. Fucci'nghellthesesuck sales: Ripken/1,205 and Williams/1131. What? Must be suckers for runs or fans (i.e. family) of the artists.

Gregory Siff's Nolan Ryan looks like a 9th grade doodle drawing on the back of a notebook. His George Brett is going to give someone a seizure.

Ben Baller wants EVERYONE to know which cards he did. Gross! Love the Big Hurt rendition but won't buy.

Matt Taylor's are well done. Henderson rocks but I'm not a Rickey fan.

Sophia Chang's Mariano Rivera is pretty solid.

Efdot's Nolan Ryan is cool but turned Willie Mays into a member of Run DMC.

I could trace and add lines like Joshua Vides does. He got paid for those? And 1,221 people bought that card? WTF

Blake hasn't done Trout, Clemente or Griffey yet so I'm interested to see those.

I DID make (2) purchases on eBay: A Tyson Beck Ken Griffey. Jr. and a JK5 Ichiro (this one was pure speculation). I thought about getting a Beck Ripken Jr. and Grotesk Clemente - but didn't.

There you have it. My opinions, take it or leave it. Believe it or not, I am interested to see more versions of Clemente, Trout and Griffey Jr.

Also, how many are people buying of a card that they got such a discount and can sell it below Topps' MSRP with free shipping on eBay?

Last post in this thread for me. You're welcome.

The T. Beck Griffey is underrated for sure. It was well done.

Shore and Ermsy are actually my two favorite artists in the set but to each their own

Keith Shore's version of the Mattingly card was signed by Don Mattingly himself, and Mattingly Charities had them up on ebay, but they sold out pretty quick.

First batch (around 200 cards?) was priced at $75, and the second batch (another 100 cards or so) was priced at $100.
They are also running auction for multiple inscribed versions of the card, which people can still bid on.

I think someone's a little salty that they didn't buy more of these to flip and realized that the ship has sailed
