Some good news (for me anyway). My large order arrived yesterday safe and sound. It was packed very well and had toploaders for all cards $50 and over. All others were in penny sleeves.

Other than a few cards still in COMC Ebay limbo I am officially out.

Holy forking shirt, these new "rushed" shipping prices are utterly absurd. I can no longer reasonably sell sets on eBay.

It's running me $64.49 for delivery of the Endgame Tier 1 and 2 set (80 cards) in mid-May!

Awesome to hear. Glad they got there ok! That's a good sign that some orders are still going out with toploaders, I wasnt sure what to expect with all the complaints Im seeing on ebay.

Hooray! I'm very glad you got your cards. On COMC, I always enjoyed dealing with you, both as a buyer and a seller. I very much appreciate your contributions to this board.

My personal belief is that a year from now, all the COVID nonsense will be over, and COMC will be processing and shipping on time. At that point, maybe some of the people who bailed or who have been on the sidelines will give the site another look. Good luck!

I tend to agree. I'm not sure it's a knock on the company that they aren't treating a $6,200 sale differently than a 25 cent sale. If the opposite were true, then people could complain that COMC was using favoritism.

Other possible complaints about a $6,200 card are that it was counterfeit, trimmed, altered or overgraded. Late shipping on your genuine, existing, properly described item might suck, but when I'm buying an expensive item, my primary concern is that the item is genuine and as described.

That’s fine if you feel that way. Not sure most buyers would be willing to wait a month after spending $6200. That’s how much $$$ lost in fees after refunding?

At our discretion, we will upgrade items valued at $100+ to Elite for an additional $2 per item

And I'm still waiting 3 weeks for cards that went for elite upgrades. Looks like I'm done sending to comc

OK, so I feel like I am getting gaslamped on this thread. After months of others complaining about 20-year long waits for COMC to ship anything, I just assumed seeing any cards from COMC was a "set it and forget it proposition." Last week, on Tuesday, I bought a PSA graded card via COMC auction, hoping to link my COMC account and transfer it into my portal to be sent home in a year or two if/when ship times improved. Unfortunately, I could not get my Ebay acct. linked to my COMC acct, even though the emails on both accounts were the same. I sent a ticket into COMC and to their credit they responded quickly, but ultimately no email to link the account ever showed up in my inbox. With the clock ticking to pay for the Ebay auction, I just went ahead and paid with Paypal on Saturday, 4/10. I immediately received an email from COMC that my order was being processed. Yesterday, I was sent an email with USPS tracking information, and today, it is in the USPS facility in Seattle with an estimated delivery of 4/20. So, perhaps USPS is in on the conspiracy and my cards are currently on a secret ship to the Cayman Islands, but it seems plausible I will receive my order on or about Monday (5 business days from their receipt of payment).

So, perhaps COMC is scouring chat boards to see who has a positive attitude and it is treating those buyers better, but otherwise, it would seem like there is at least a glimmer of hope that COMC is turning a corner on shipping.

I will make you a deal ThePatriotWay: If I can point to an auction on Ebay for a PSA graded card that ended two weeks ago from COMC, and present a new picture with the card in hand by middle of next week (not sure if USPS will get it here on 4/20, the current USPS estimated delivery date), are you willing to go a month without bashing COMC?
