Jeter is hitting less than 100k. Trout has a chance. Sneakerbois will not be gone after 1 time. Need sustained beating for a week.

I know, right! All i gotta say is, Project 2020 has been berry berry good to me. Hoping everyone with skin in the game enjoys the ride.

Really thought Griffey was going to be 60k+. I wanna see where all the people who were guaranteeing print runs under 40k ran off to. haha.

There's no chance it's just sneaker kids, there's a TON of money flowing into this. I'd be surprised if Blake's Trout did less than 150k.

check the amount of sold items vs actual print run. this though process is flawed. the moment 100x the amount go on the market with this run vs the old runs, the price will react accordingly. DIP

Especially since Blake does great work. His Trout is going to be a beauty

Ya that print run was crazy high, but to think they will be less than MSRP say, 6 months from now is crazy.

While i love Blake's McGwire. It wasn't even the best card it of the pair. The Jeter Thiele was a prettier card imo!

Have to say about today's cards, not a fan of the JK5 releases.. and that is only because I feel the lines are to thick and unless you are looking at the card right in front of you or a nice high quality photo of it, it comes off as muddy. Just wish he used a lighter touch.. but he's got his way and i'm not knocking the dude for what he does.. clearly he's a great designer. And the Ripken, that reminds me of so many hologram cards that came out in the early 90's. So because of that I went in on 1, and I don't collect Ripken stuff at all. But that one spoke to me.

Probably so the counterfeiters can seem more legit...

I'd really like to get larger prints of some of these cards to frame and put on my wall.

Good example of what fueled today. Seller with 95% feedback who hasn't sold anything in over a month and was previously selling hand sanitizer decided it was a good idea to buy 40 of each of Ryan and Griffey.

The good news...he will be gone tomorrow. So maybe today was necessary to scare all of these types of sellers away.

Say you wanted to do a Griffey run and just got in. You just likely lost half your buy in. Why would you ever buy the other cards for $1K+ when you just lost half your money. You'll just wait and see if the card goes down.

This is what has always happened with these print on demand sets and those who look to sell. The wave builds and builds, then eventually the monetary side of it crashes and the monetary value of the entire set comes down with it.
All I will say on this is that I remember a few years ago when 2017-18 National Treasures FOTL boxes came out and you kept repeating similar types of messages that the sky was falling and sell now blah blah blah. Later the market proved you to be very very wrong. So taking anything you say with a tiny tiny grain of salt cut in half

To me the big thing is..... how much of this speculation is on cards none of us have in hand. It's not like these ship 2 days after close, my Grotesk Jeter was ordered 22 days ago and I don't even have as much as a shipping notice.

I'm more interested specifically in sales and tracking of cards physically sold and delivered to people. I bought the two early Jeters for dirt cheap ($22 or less) and have them in hand already....

That's why I'm scared to dive in now on the cards being released (other than the Jeters I plan on collecting the set on). Because by the time you actually get them in hand, it's going to be hard to sell possibly.... and if you pre-sell and prices plummet before the cards are shipped, the buyer will just return the card on your, claiming item not as described....
