Haven't seen Sheridan's name mentioned. I have seen Dan Mullen. Legit not sure what to think about Mullen as OC.

Hasn't Mullen made some negative comments re. Michigan in the not too recent past? Am I mixing him up with someone else?

Also, I am under no illusions re: how well-liked I am on here..

Depending on what Maryland does with Mike Locksley. Locksley has a ton of experience, has worked / developed both Tagovalui brothers as QB’s. Michigan utilized a 1st year OC when Locksley has earned his stripes.

I’m just not sure with his contract and such a weak schedule that the Maryland AD doesn’t give him another season.

I didn’t realize that this thread was about popularity. Haha!

On another note, Michigan’s basketball team beat Wisconsin in Madison last night. Looks like they might be back. Two 7 footers, one’s a point guard of sorts. Impressive win.

I’d start a B1G thread in basketball but last year it was mostly me babbling to myself.

Apologize for the off-topic post.

Back to FB, Huskers lost Tony White and a bunch of defensive starters already. This transfer portal world is fast becoming who has the money and resources. Guess that’s going to be the reality.

I think it's just talk. Lots of things would have to happen but there was a pretty clear path laid out on one insiders podcast I saw last night. Day would have to take another job first to avoid the buyout. Meyer would come back because the main guys he butted heads with last time are gone and he could finish his coaching career on a better note than where it currently stands

So presumably a minimal degree of possibility if AnOSU were to get bounced in the first round of the playoff?

Meyer is also the only person that could keep the coaches he wants (Hartline, Walton, and Laurinatis) on the staff for sure

They probably wouldn’t leave… but hiring an outsider opens up all types of doors

This isn’t new

If he leaves Ohio State? He’s not staying in College. That’s for sure

Multiple = 2?

QB coach for Eagles in 2015 and 49ers in 2016 before returning to college (AnOSU) in 2017. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_D...rican_football)

Not sure I see him walking into an NFL HC position. Maybe, but I think if he can win at least one CFP game he's probably good for another year.

Unless its Vrabel. Not really an outsider though.

Vrabel doesn’t want what College requires - recruiting, NIL, Boosters, unstable leadership “NCAA”, transfer portal, etc. It’s a pipe dream having Mike cross into College Football.

Oh its a pipe dream, you're right about that. OSU does have the money to make it very enticing though.

OSU going undefeated in 2025 pretty easily.

That's all I've got for now.

Urban came out with a statement that is isn’t interested in returning to coaching. I’m sure that settles it.

You know what you do when you definitely want to coach? Put out a statement saying you don’t want to coach… when literally no one asked for the statement

$$$

Dude is begging to come back for the right price
