This is new for the Trout market. Very surprised by it. Not sure if his prices are catching up to where they should be or if the Trout market is being GameStop/Arod right now

Yeah, I think it tops $7,500.

It's not just Trout though. Prices on everything have been going crazy the last 10 months, it's just that it hasn't reached really reached the US175 Trout yet.

Unopened wax has been through the roof. I haven't seen retail at my local Target since 2019.

Anything with Mantle on it is through the roof. You can barely find a 52 Topps for sale for less than $100,000.

Even the Upper Deck Griffey Jr. card is spiking this week.

I don't think this is suspect, I think it is Trout catching up to the rest of the market.

I agree with this right here.

We have seen spikes in many iconic cards but not on US175.

I only have 1 US175 PSA 10 and keeping it long term.

I don't know... it's not like he hasn't spiked at all. He was $1000 last December. 300% increase in a year is kind of a spike.

I don't know what's been going on with US175 lately but my diamond anni on myslabs has gotten like 5 offers in 24 hrs. Then I hope onto ebay and PSA 10 base going for 7-8K?? Anyone have a rational view as to what a diamon anni is even worth now? I have a true gem and a PSA 10..

Well the last one just sold today for $19,500... but I think it is suspect and fueled by the bases that sold for $10k... which are very suspect.

On Saturday one sold on Goldin for $11k + 23% = $13,500.

They generally sell for around 3x the base, so if base are truly going for $6000... then $18k doesn't seem like a stretch.

Got it. I received an offer for 10K for a true gem and was shocked. It would have been a fantastic deal a few months ago. Crazy how this frenzy has just blown up. Thanks for the quick data points!

True gems are a little trickier... maybe 2/3s a PSA10, so about $12k?

I wonder what happens if you send in for a crossover at a lower rate. I would think they would only upcharge you if it crossed. They wouldn't dare upcharge you only to send it back to you, would they??

I wouldn't think they would upcharge for a non-cross. I did super express and declared the value at $4999, which was over what a PSA 10 was until last Saturday or so.

Depends what you consider PSA10 to be at. BGS10 is like double PSA10... so if PSA10 is $6k, BGS10 is closer to $12k

Yeah, I just sent in a Jeter SP BGS 9 and a Trout 2009 Sterling at the $75 rate. Both obviously are worth more than the $2500... They are currently in the grading phase. More than happy to pay the upcharge if they cross.
