Just got shipping notification on the Blue Jays Postseason Auto sets... got notification on White Sox Postseason Auto sets a few days ago too.

I hope it's the sets + autos and not just the base sets (I didn't order any regular sets), because Topps isn't know for being this speedy.

Hopefully they're working on those Prospect Pool Auto sets soon too, it's been 12 weeks now.

They've only done a triple auto relic in 2017 (Astros) and 2019 (Nationals)... didn't do one in 2016 (Cubs) or 2018 (Red Sox)... but they did have dual auto relics those years!

Definitely a pretty weak offering... hopefully they'll surprise us and get another player on board this morning to spice it up a bit! Won't hold my breath though!

I've got a Jays Postseason Auto set still being processed. Also a Dodgers Postseason non-auto set processing - and several bonus cards as well.

Is the printing window seriously 16-20 weeks after countdown? That's around March. They'll have put up RTOD sets by then.

I have to agree it is a weak offering for a WS victory.

Maybe they didn't get enough bases. Hope for those that buy the Dodgers team base isn't the bottom side of it.

Most frustrating part is that the Platinums eat these all up early - with bot days, no one will have a shot at the few remaining cards.

Not blaming the Platinums, they are taking a great opportunity given to them. Just weak on Topps' end to not have enough to go around for a World Series clincher.

I've been chasing Dodgers Topps Now since the product launched. We've come close many times. Because of that, I have many post season relic and auto cards. I've watched other teams win the WS and get some amazing card offerings.

This is a massive let down. The only bright spot for me is that if I manage to get whatever scraps are left when they pop today... it will be the bookend to my Topps Now Baseball collection.

Yeah, and some of the "acceptable white pieces" could very well be be pushed to the /10 relics as well.
But that's with any other base relic / relic autos that they have issued so far in the Postseason with offerings of one being upto /99 and the other being upto /25.

Yeah just extremely weak Topps. For such a massively collected team and market and this is all that could be come up just leaves me smh.

Questions: Who are the "Platinums" and how does a person become one? I wasn't sure if you had to buy a certain volume, have a wholesale account with Topps, have a resale license as a dealer, etc.

Are they given free reign to order as many of any item in advance and essentially buy out an entire run before they reach the public, or is it a "favor status" where it's one per member

So, they get an email from Topps before the items go "live" to sell and that group can pick whatever they want, then when Topps goes public, it's whatever remains.

I get it that, Topps wants to reward the high end clients who spend the most with VIP treatment and some of those clients are resellers who may not be collectors or fans, but look at every opportunity as one to scoop up and immediately flip for profits to those who will get shut out. It's the nature of the hobby. I was just more wondering about access.

Platinum status is invite only and you have to spend A LOT just on Topps Now to be eligible for the invite.
I believe people who have the Platinum status spend at least $50K per year on Topps Now.

My understanding is that they get to reserve one from every auto/relic card.
So, in today's case, they can reserve for example Seager auto relic /5, Dodger team relic /49, Arozarena /10, but only one serial type from each card.
They don't have the rights to reserve any 1/1s either.
Also when they reserve, they don't know the price. So, it can be a gamble for them.

I had the Seager /10 in my cart and went out of stock before checkout too...

Only relic left is the purple currently and I am sure that will be gone soon as well. Wish I would have gotten a Seager /25 but oh well.

All Relics / Autos now sold out... approximately 9 minutes

Concerned about the possible quality of base pieces... I bought both a /49 (Blue on Dodger Blue) relic and the base /99 version. Once arrived, I'll likely keep the one I like best and move the other.
