Absolutely awesome card. 2019 Hoops having really nice looking on-card autos is probably the most shocking thing I've seen in this hobby. I feel like those cards don't get talked about very much either.

Punct with another museum piece.
To me, that's his best rookie card made. He has multiple rookie logomen, and 1/1's a-plenny. But he'll never have a dual like that. Ever.

I'll just say it's worth more now than when I purchased it last May and I have zero interest in selling it. Just wanted to share a pic of one of my favorite pieces. I missed the boat on the NT RPA's but this will do me just fine since it includes both Ja and one of the greatest to ever play the game, a game that I love with a sincere passion.

It's the type of card I would dip deep into the PC to trade almost anything I had to in an effort to get it..a masterpiece of a card..thanks for sharing it punctilious---great call in getting one for your collection.

It's funny, he would probably have been people's 3rd pick out of Zion and Luka in terms of the 'most likely to be the next big thing' discussion. Now he has steamed out ahead of everyone like a race horse and it's been great to watch.

Love that people are debating the best rookie Ja photo because we're clearly seeing the guy makes spectacular cards - because of his spectacular motion.
My favorite is his Select Premiere: ![]() Love the way it captures that it's not just about vertical explosion for Ja. He's an aerial artist who ends up operating at strange angles, but manages to do so while still feeling like he's got balance. Really does remind of Jordan in a way rarely seen. |

The missed dunk kills it for me as being super-iconic. Still a cool card, but calling a card "The Dunk" - as people now do - when it was a miss (to say nothing of a foul by Morant that wasn't called), just doesn't work for me.

i have one of these, looking at it. And, i was wondering if this is one of the most awesome rookies? posterizing Love, instead of a dribble pose, which is more or less most of his rookie crds.
Its one of few panini cards that i enjoy. Last edited by Donkaylove; 02-04-2022 at 12:24 AM. |
