If COMC didn’t absolutely have to, they wouldn’t charge upfront for shipping costs they will not incur until months down the road when they actually ship. They can prove me wrong by ceasing their practice of charging users upfront.

By the way, now up to 5.3% neutral or negative feedback in the last 30 days. It was 3.5% just 10 days ago. It’s only going to get worse. People are leaving feedback from orders at the beginning of March. Just wait until the people ordering now who don’t get their items for 4+ weeks start leaving feedback.

So you do not do business with Comc which is fine and totally understandable, Yet you are consumed by their success or failure.........When I fly I do not fly United Airlines hence I couldn't care less about their successes or failures.

COMC has been poorly run recently - I 100% agree on that
But there is not a single piece of evidence presented that shows they have cash flow problems. So it is hearsay until then. And the "400 daily auctions" cash flow claim isn't accurate. Those 400 auctions are like maybe 5% of the business they do. The truth is nobody knows what is actually going on. I'm not ringing any alarm as cash outs have been paid out actually quicker than they promise recently.

I can certainly understand the frustration about shipping delays. I also understand, though do not necessarily agree with, the questioning of COMC's management practices based on the perceived response to the shipping problem. What I really don't understand though, is the level of hate for the company in general? Is waiting 3-4 months (or heaven forbid - 6 months) for cards really enough to wish the death of a company that has the potential to provide substantial value to collectors? For 50 cents a card, one can liquidate 100's (if not thousands) of cards at market value that would otherwise be gathering dust in a closet for the next 20 years. You can also find just about any card in any genre, typically at prices lower than Ebay, all while getting pictures that are better than the average ebay seller and virtually zero risk that the seller is trying to scam you in the process. Even better, you can pick up a card you want at a good price, put a "make me sell" price on it, and if it sells have even more money to get another card you want for your personal collection. Why is any of this bad for collectors? What other companies offer a similar avenue to liquidate unwanted low value cards with little to no work and/or trade up a personal collection?
Are any of the ones complaining about COMC old enough to remember the days where the market value of a card was $20, but the only way to sell the card was to go your local card store where you would get offered $3 (f you were lucky)? And anything with a Beckett value of less than $10 elicited a "sorry kid, I don't need any of those" response, and the cards then went to the back of the closet to be forgotten for 30 years. |

SHIPPING UPDATE
11/14/2020 - Shipment Ordered/Paid - 113 Cards - Economy - some ePack 01/14/2021 - Status Update - "Packaging Phase" 02/18/2021 - Target Ship Date Current Status - Not Shipped (47 days late) 03/12/2021 - Shipment Ordered/Paid - 7 Cards - Economy Rushed - no epack 03/15/2021 - Status Update - "Packaging Phase" 04/05/2021 - Target Ship Date Current Status - SHIPPED 4/3/2021 (2 days earlier than target) 03/17/2021 - eBay Shipment Ordered/Paid - 4 Cards - eBay Rushed* (standard $4.99) 03/19/2021 - Status Update - "Packaging Phase" 03/24/2021 - Target Ship Date Current Status - Not shipped (13 days late) So, the Economy Rushed order wins the race! One thing to mention is that the order that shipped has 6 cards from 1 Set & 1 card from a random set, so who knows, maybe another piece of the shipping delay puzzle is that if you have most cards from the same exact set, might be easier to fulfill, which doesn't excuse the delays, but could explain some of the randomness of which orders are getting shipped and which are not.

Anyone know how long COMC gives an auction winner to pay before they file NPB? Also, if that happens does COMC repair the card or does it go back into your inventory?
I haven't experienced this specific iteration. However, when COMC first started doing auctions, I sent a bunch of comic books, not realizing that they don't do comic books and apparently aren't intending to do comic books any time soon. Recently, I was poking around my "Not For Sale" items, and discovered the comics were there, with new COMC ID numbers. So, it's possible that unsold auction items eventually make it back into the queue for another auction, and it's possible they get unceremoniously added to your unsold items section. These didn't show up in the "needing attention" yellow banner thing that says you have items you need to price. So, you might periodically check your unsold items section and see if anything got added by COMC which you didn't realize was there. |

Is COMC drowning in their "success"? Yes. Does it mean they're running out of cash? Not by a long shot. |

Since COMC leaves eBay feedback for all of its paying customers, their "Feedback Left" page is probably the best indicator of the number of items they've sold.
At last check, they had 634 pages of feedback left, at 200 per page, in the past month. So this is approximately 126,800 items sold. If they were to sell 400 items per day at auction, with 100% sell-thru and 100% paying customers, this would be 12,000 items per 30 days. So, for every eBay auction item which is sold, they sell approximately 9 or 10 other eBay items. My personal experience has been that for every eBay item I sell on COMC, I sell about 4 or 5 items to a non-eBay buyer. In addition, there are many ePack cards which are never offered for sale. The owner has them transferred to their COMC account and shipped directly to them. This is probably the majority of ePack cards. Certainly, it is the vast majority of ePack chase cards. It seems likely that under ordinary circumstances, COMC processes, packs and ships tens of thousands of cards per day, and has for many years. |

Anyone have any luck getting them to cancel sending items to auction? Sent cards 2/25/21 that said they'd hit auction the following week, well over a month now.

Tim admitted they were paying 30 cents per toploader lately. Yet they are now just offering 10 cents in store credit. LMAO

They actually replied to an email to me stating they were working on it when I requested an item NOT run at auction. Never showed up in my inventory, never showed as a link from my profile. Auction ran, and no further response from COMC |
