Default COMC

The items listed below are from a COMC auction that sold on Feb 8th. (for 99 cents)

Delivery:
Estimated by Fri. Apr. 23
This item has an extended handling time and a delivery estimate greater than 16 business days.

Will ship within 15 business days of receiving cleared payment. The seller has specified an extended handling time for this item.

Return policy details
Seller does not offer returns.

US $4.99
Free (additional items)
United States
Standard Shipping (USPS First Class®)

Also, during the past 90 days, COMC has had 28,700 auctions that closed. Many did not get a bid. I haven't checked the number of no bids, however, over 5000 of these auctions ended with bids of less than the $3.50 that is charged to the seller for the auction listing.

And- COMC had over 200,000 items that sold on eBay during the past 90 days. Can you imagine trying to deal with that volume of sales? They have nearly 8 million listings on eBay.

Draw your own conclusions.

So glad I sell my own cards on EBAY and at Shows rather than let this dumpster fire or train wreck of a company hold my cards and screw up trying to list and sell them.

They announced they opened a massive new facility in Washington. We will see if this helps at all.

Is this a April Fool's Joke? I thought it was serious up until the "Its so big it can be seen from space" line. Also odd to release it on April Fools Day....it feels like they are out of touch. Some of the comments are pure gold though.

Tomorrow marks 5 months since I requested an non-rushed shipment. It still has a tentative ship date of 2/2. Nothing yet... Maybe they were talking about 2/2/22.

it's better than the "interview" they did with Seattle Slew a few years ago...

eBay won’t let me leave feedback on them.

I keep getting this. But I haven’t left feedback, and it’s only been about a week since they hit me with non-paying auctions because they failed to link my accounts. I guess a week is too long???

As long as ebay is getting a cut, do they even care?

If you did not pay and got a strike that is why you cannot leave feedback.

They care. I can already see their search ranking is falling. They used to come near the top of my searches when i am listing stuff now they are near the bottom of many of them so their search ranking is taking a hit it seems.

When Ebay is having to refund and cancel that is costing Ebay money.

I figured, but it is not my fault. I wanted to pay for the with my ComC credit and add them to my port for later shipping and flipping. They never linked it. They just ignored me.

So ComC now wants to buy your top loaders for .10 cents? Umm.. I just saw a few times on eBay a lot of 400 used going for like $75. I don’t think there will be many wanting to sell to ComC at that price. My LCS won’t sell me any new packs of TL’s without buying a hobby box. One pack per box. I remember buying TL packs for $3 each now I’m lucky if they are $10 each.

Is COMC discounting when they don't meat that guaranteed level or is this another chance for them to switch their own rules up?
Anyone w/experience on this in the last few months?
So my 3 week "guaranteed" order was due 3/31 and now has updated to being Estimated for 4/20. So if that ends up happening, a "guaranteed 3 week" shipment will be....6 weeks.

Ok so I just remembered something I saw and thought I’d ask you all here.

A few weeks back I saw a baseball card listed on eBay from ComC. I thought the final bid was incredible low for the kind it was. Then I noticed that the eBay listing name was different from the card being listed. It was a different player. So the listing was incorrect.

My question is, would the original ComC owner be able to dispute the winning bid?? Or is he screwed?
