I'd be very weary of pouring a lot of money into Bedard's auto based on the fervor behind getting him inked to these deals and signing a lot stuff out of the gate. Every market has a saturation point.

His performance will have a much larger effect on his market value.

That statement is not a gauge (or even a measurement), Fanatics has only in recent years started signing players to these type of contracts so there's no reasonable way to know how much is too much. Yet.

This is a PSA. People might be buying thinking their 'investment' will double, where the reality isn't that certain even if Bedard scores 700+ career goals. Think before buying.

I don’t prospect or collect kids so I hear ya.

Bedard will sign plenty via upper deck… and his prices are already HOF elite superstar status prices. I don’t see the investment potential at all.

Keep an eye out for Bedard YG exclusives 005/100. Came up in a hockey card discord group I am a part of. A guy had the exclusives on epack, moved to COMC and sent to PSA, went to ship his card home and he noticed COMC mistakenly put a deluxe /250 in his account.

COMC reached out to the guy that got the exclusives and he refused to send it back. They are considering the card stolen and reached out to PSA. PSA has deactivated the cert. They offered $5k to the guy that lost his card.

Probably because an employee stole it just like the redemptions lol

Glad Bedard auto is for mems only, assumed "memorabilia and collectibles division" plus the signed photos would include cards. If he turns out to be Mcdavid it's worth it but I wonder how much he got paid when UD still gets cards which are pretty desirable, plus had all his rookie year autos/mems, as I've seen Bedard auto jerseys so the must have came from UD.

Got a great deal on this yesterday from my LCS. Been wanting another Bedard, particularly an on card auto, after selling the Draft Day Marks auto I pulled earlier this year. NFT/NFS

It's not breaking the bank but PSA that a year 2 Bedard canvas is not a $20 card, Caufield's is $1.25 and Juraj is $2.35, $4.75 for the Black And White. If you want something numbered second year that's alright, but not this and if you want it for PC wait to buy. You didn't hit the lottery on a second year base card just because the name is Bedard lol

9 points in his first 12 games is not a good start to the season. I wasn't expecting fireworks but I thought he'd be doing better than this. 0 points in his last 3 games now.

Investing in Bedard now is like buying a piece of vacant land for the price of one with a 2000 sq ft 3 car garage home on it. From an investment stand point. Now if you just PC, like the hawks yada yada, sure have fun.

There are a lot more seasoned and experienced high-end vets that are also starting slow. S**t happens. Connor will be just fine.
