Here is the November 2018 NHK Documentary about Shohei's 1st year in the Majors.
From 7:00 - 11:30 in the video:

a) Shohei's introductory press conference at Angels Stadium in December 2017 was shown;
b) his struggles in 2018 Spring Training, and;
c) Shohei himself revealing his visit to Ichiro's house before the start of the season, and the advice he received from Ichiro that was key to him turning things around.

EDIT AFTER: Actually, despite the page saying 1,212 for the set, the PR on the bonus card should be 1,134 (189 numbered cards x 6 subjects). I suspect the 1,212 represents the total number of each base card when including the base cards that were included in the separate autograph packs - but this bonus card would of course only go to people who bought the team set.

I opened a lot of update in 2020, mainly chasing Acuna and Soto. While I always pulled out the US1 and RD of Ohtani, I left his other appearances (HR streak, w/ Ichiro, and Stardom) in a box of unsorted commons. I decided to go digging this weekend since I saw those had some value to them now and this was my haul:

Probably a good time to start watching BC RC closely if you're on the fence, it's almost back down to 3 digits. A couple auctions almost ended up there today.

US285 black is back from PSA and safely locked up in the PC. Topps really did a great job with the parallel design in ‘18. This is my only non-base Ohtani and I really enjoy it.

Thanks all! I knew the corners were tough but I think it was TBP who said the grade didn’t matter so much on this one. I agree and hey the 8 is a pop 3 rarity lol
