So my youngest SD was taking her shower last night and I hear my wife yelling for me from downstairs. Head down to the kitchen to find my wife holding a pot and water coming down from the light fixture and ceiling.

I'm sure that's going to be a nice repair bill.

Today begins the online distance learning education for my Son. He gets a whole half hour with his teacher today along with the other 23 kids in his class.

He has her 3 days a week for half an hour, 1 half hour session with science and 1 half hour session with art. Then a 122 page packet.

They keep adding stuff for us. The kids still have all their specials including PE. A lot of the PE stuff is "Find a partner and throw a ball back and forth with them." I have had to play toss and catch with both my boys because the other was busy with school work. I love that they keep saying "Their day should be self-guided"

My youngest has meetings everyday for 3 subjects for one hour each. It is all 3 fifth grade classes. It started last week but he only went to the first one because they didn't do anything except talk about what they've been doing. Out of 65+ kids, 12 were on the meeting.

My keurig finally crossed the coffee bridge yesterday after many years of dedicated service. I dug out the old drip style coffee maker for this morning. It has quickly become apparent why I switched to the keurig. I ordered myself a new keurig mini and it should be here by Wednesday.

Our district is doing all pre-recorded stuff. It is rather annoying because you have to go into on app see what the school work is for the day then separate apps for everything else. Sometimes the app you need for math takes you to another app.

Disney employees furloughed this weekend are being automatically enrolled for unemployment according to the FL governor. Not jumping to first in line though.

So last night she was accused of stealing a car and $80 from the Dad's girlfriend's friend. At some point she returned the car. At some later point in the night, said friend hit her with that car and she ended up in the emergency room and claimed someone stole her purse. She had an arm bandaged this morning when her Dad went and picked her up from the hospital. Supposedly the police were called and took an incident report but the SD refuses to tell her Dad or Mom what exactly happened.

It’s all part of a plan, if the teachers show home schooling actually works they will be out of a job.
