Still a lot of meat left on the Living Set bone, IMO: just among players who made at least 10 All-Star teams, we're still missing:

Nellie Fox
Reggie Jackson
Harmon Killebrew
Minnie Minoso
Elston Howard
Mike Schmidt
Ken Boyer
Del Crandall
Bill Dickey
Bill Freehan
Mel Ott
Steve Carlton
Whitey Ford
Billy Herman
George Kell
Harvey Kuenn
Joe Medwick
Red Schoendienst
Enos Slaughter

That doesn't count a ton of MLB greats (Koufax chief among them), Negro League greats or players with high peaks like Mark Fidyrich, Tony Conigliaro, J.R. Richard, Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Tim Lincecum and probably a ton of others.

I'm also a fan of depicting great players who had memorable moments on multiple teams - Reggie with Yankees/A's, Dick Allen with Phillies/White Sox, etc. Hope this set doesn't go anywhere anytime soon!

Did not have Marlins Ichiro on my bingo card. Cleveland Sabathia would have made a lot more sense!

Oh, I assumed crossing the 3k hit mark would be memorable moment stuff.

I forgot what the rule was for players in different uniforms.
If the player is retired, they can make the card in multiple uniforms?
(Ichiro already had his Mariners card made)

I should have added that these are Hall of Fame players to debut within that period of time (ie. 1970-1975 onward). I'll soon update the list to include Hall of Fame players to Debut from 1950s and 1960s onward which would include Killebrew.

It's nice to see that with Billy Wagner now featured the list gets smaller and is now down to 6 Hall of Famers to debut in the last half century:

1. Paul Molitor
2. Bruce Sutter
3. Jim Rice
4. Mike Schmidt
5. Bert Blyleven
6. Mike Mussina

There are no rules anymore. We almost got two Heliot Ramos cards on SFG. Almost. It is crystal clear that someone from Topps monitors this thread lol That's right, I know you're watching us.

Thanks guys...
It might have been that the retired players can have as many team cards as Topps wish, but I also can't find such wording anywhere.
Anyways, bought my 5 card bundle of Ichiro after not purchasing many other Topps Living Set cards this year.

The wording has changed occasionally so it doesn't really matter what it says now. You'll notice that the text also says "any player" and not whatever managers we want. And yet, there are managers in the set.

I’m fine with retired/HOF players with multiple cards. Carlton Fisk spent more time in Chicago than Boston but his card matches the hat on his HOF plaque. Nolan Ryan has incredible history with all four of his teams. Reggie Jackson as Angel is immortal thanks to the Naked Gun.

If sales permit, then let these guys have multiples.

Totally agree. Just put a lot of time between releases for the same retired player...like 4-5 years...and each additional card should be done by a different artist.

Ohhh, the easter eggs for Reggie as an Angel when you take Naked Gun into account (he did get HR #500 as an Angel and is warranted that card but A's and Yankees first).

Jared. Where you been? Long time no chat here. Hope you are not getting burned out. Very sympathetic if getting swamped by weekly grid, young family, etc but still enjoying your great art work on this set. Best.

Long Live the Living Set.

PR on this Ichiro is:
Ichiro - 2025 MLB Living Set® - Card 851 - PR: 3,009
Which is quite low compared to OG Ichiro:
Topps Living Set Card #25 - Ichiro Suzuki - Print Run: 10,713

I'm not too surprised.
People completely despise Ichiro in Marlins uniform.
