There are already so many Topps Now cards of Shohei I want to pick up.. It's getting a bit much TBH so I will just hope again people are going to buy massive quantities to try and hit some parallels, and have to get rid of them on eBay. The only one I bought for myself was the 493ft homer because of the back:

If they do another double sided image it'll be hard to resist.

No idea - depends in significant part on the photo(s) they use. No surprise though that he has three of the top ten current PRs this season - plus, if I'm not mistaken, #11.

As much as I like Ohtani, gonna skip this one. Usual text on the back and wasn't a huge moment IMO. Don't get me wrong, it was great, but this isn't the post season and they didn't win. If I find it in a dollar bin one day I might pick it up.

I do believe that he will be one of the greatest of all time one day, but with that being said , when it comes to his topps rookie cards, will they be worth much in the future, I ask because im sure EVERYONE is hoarding them now, so I feel that there will be thousands of his PSA rookie card all over the place in the future, driving down the scarcity and or price. am I right?

I'm a big Now guy on top of being an Ohtani guy, so I'm still buying, but I get ya. I suspect the PR lands around 4500.

I had the 2018 Bowman Chrome #1 BGS Black Label ... sold it 3/22/22 for $9k. At the time it was Pop 1 of about 230. Put it up for $10k OBO and couldn't believe an immediate offer came it at $9k so I took it.

It's now Pop 2 (out of 420)... wonder what it'd go for today? Obviously his prices have gone nuts, but it seems like Black Labels aren't fetching the same premium they used to as most people are perfectly happy with a PSA 10.

I love that card, great job by Topps! Thankfully got it on release but didn't get a parallel congrats!

Yeah too much bad press about special treatment that was given to "special" submitters,because of that it has lost its luster. Still the sickest flip in the hobby I will say that.

The Black Label Scandal did more harm than anything else BGS could have done. They lost credibility and people turned toward PSA. THAT IS also the reason I don’t even consider Leaf products.
