You have to at least give that seller credit for putting "reprint" in the title and not trying to sneak it by people with "RP" like they usually do.

Still totally shameful to list it at that price, of course. But this one isn't the worst of the worst.

I've actually seen people bid on that card since the beginning of the season and I think they were ending between $40-50.

Look at 130 point for the PSA 10 versions of these. Idiots actually bought a psa 10s of these reprints for way too much money. The highest number I'm looking at now is $2425 and that ended on June 23rd 2023.

Other PSA 10 sales of this via auction were:

$1375, 890, 600, 799, 405 and 620.........

But he's 5th in odds right now to win it so it doesn't seem like it's that crazy to talk about. If it offends you, there are plenty of other threads you can go to.

Not sure if this was because of my post on the last page but I just said it's amazing he's even in the conversation, I haven't seen anyone claiming/hoping he's going to win it this year. Cole should.

100% correct. The fact that he’s in the top five for the Cy is almost as good as another pitcher actually winning the award because of what he does at the plate. Another reason we are watching an all time historic baseball player.

I don’t post much on any of the forums, but I really enjoy reading this thread every couple days and seeing everyone’s pickups. I only have two Ohtani cards and admittedly I haven’t been on the Ohtani train since his inception into the league. Not even close. I just know that I don’t follow todays baseball at all, as I really collect primarily vintage baseball cards, but I check the box score every single morning to see what Ohtani does. That says a lot to me as a non-fan and more of an historian of yesteryear’s game of baseball as to what Ohtani brings to the game of baseball today and how I think he may be viewed in history.

My Ohtani Collection. I really need to add some sort of RC.
