When the trade tickets were first brought up there was no mention of burning, they would just be recycled. And you wouldn't be guaranteed a pack, the tickets would be a new currency, so you could join the queue and if you got a good spot you could spend your tickets on the pack.

I feel like they have to be burned or something. They can’t be reissued. The problem is a supply issue right now and this would fix it. Cause users to spend more money and then get rid of moments nobody wants. Up spending, cut back on supply.

Let me preface this by saying I'm not talking about myself, but some people came into this thread with respectful critiques of the platform and basically had tomatoes thrown at them by the same few TS bulls.

Agreed and that is wrong. Differing opinions are a good thing and I appreciate them, and I’m sure most do. Without putting words in his mouth, I don’t think that’s who drob or me are talking about.

Please point me to where I just had a ton of blind hatred for the platform and just spouted complete nonsense. If I did, I'd retract those statements. I have said time and again that the platform could have had a decent future but they choose short-term gains over long-term growth. I still buy packs and my first comments in here were positive earlier this year. They grew way too fast and are now hiding behind the beta excuse as a way to avoid owning up to mistakes.

It definitely could still rebound. If your looking to make money on it, it's pretty risky right now with not a lot of return. But if you are a true collector and like the idea, I say go for it. I don't think Top Shot is going away, it's just not a big thing anymore.It's not going in the right direction, it's down to $756M.

Update 5/23: The market cap is now down to $678M. Considering they keep selling more cards and making more money, shouldn't the market cap be going up?

Like Top Shot, I'll try my hand at this. Hopefully getting money out isn't as painful as the baseball product is. Still have $60 or so wrapped up in there that I have no idea how to get out.

There has always been differing views in them and arguments every day, the difference is they aren't filled with people that have never used the platform giving their opinions as facts every day and hoping for it to fail because they somehow feel their hobby is threatened.

If everyone agrees on something and any dissent is met with derision or hate, it's a circle jerk.

I'm still waiting for someone to point out to me where I was just downright hateful of the platform. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of my comments were either counter points to pumpers or giving some form of advice on what could help the platform. Again, any kind of disagreement here was met with a ton of ridicule for a period of time.

Why would the edition size change? What happens if you had let's say 39,990/40,000 and more than 10 people "burned" said moment. Your serial number would be 39,990/39,985? How would that make any sense?
