Got confirmation of my order being shipped... but the order number isn't one assigned to me. So not sure what is coming.... ugh, how bad are these people.

I just asked for a refund for my last 9 orders.

Orders from Oct. Nov. & Dec.

Thats pretty sad when you can't ship cards in 6 months.

Maybe they should consider just closing there doors.

I have about 105 cards that I had been waiting to ship and honestly hadn't given it much thought until I checked out this thread. With that being said, would others recommend that I just wait it out and hope things eventually get better, or request shipping and just get the cards whenever COMC gets around to shipping? I'm not in a rush but I would like my cards...eventually.

They won't close their doors, they are making money, a ton if it, and they have a ton of money from all the shipping that isn't taking place. So it's interest free loan on services not rendered. So money isn't an issue. They just don't care because they know nothing is gonna happen. Upper Deck would need to build their own warehouse and create their own shipping service, so they will keep paying COMC to store and ship their products.

I only collect on character, so the rest of the cards I use trade on ePacks or resell for future releases, so I needed them ASAP, why I paid for Rush Express, if you aren't in a hurry, I'd wait, at some point they will catch up, just might be summer or later lol.

This was my concern to their CEO at the National back in 2015 when he was soliciting sellers to come over to COMC and sell for them on EBAY. I never thought they could keep up with demand that would happen on EBAY and their own site traffic combined. I am so glad I sell my own items.

Based on their last couple of weeks they list exactly 400 cards per night, every night on Ebay. That's adding 400 new shipping requests daily that are given priority over COMC shipping requests as far back as October. WTF. That's a perfect way to lose your existing customer base very quickly.

Anyone have information on what happens with a card that sold on ebay without payment?

Auction ended on 1/11/21 but it still says there is a pending sale and they won't let me do anything with it

Random sketch card sells that has been out there for 2 years, buyer turns around and prices it 2x higher.

Good luck with that.

Thatts a company that needs a sure amount of cash flow. Without that, would the doors close? I don't know.

It's clear they are starting to lose major consignors and buyers have had enough. Only a matter of time before this catches them. Their ebay negatives and neutrals continue to get worse.

Basically they get a sure 3.50 per card for auctions, then another $5 shipping for those same cards. Looks like they don't ship alot of them so that's 2k a day in shipping alone they get.

Many of them major consignors its possible they owe them tons of money. Many of the big consignors have never sent a dime of outside money into COMC so essentially everything they have done is on credit. I know I am one of many who has never sent them a dime. Wonder how many of us there are.

It's supposed to get added back to the auction queue once the buyer has been given like three weeks to pay. Sometimes it doesn't and you should email auctions@comc.com to have them put it back in the auction queue. They try it three times and if it doesn't sell, then they return it back to your account, supposedly.

I sometimes do that if the card is misidentified and I can tell COMC the artist or subject, then they add it. If it's also one of many of the same "item" on COMC, only one gets listed on eBay at a time. So they might be cornering the market on a certain card to get your listing off eBay and sell theirs. There are a lot of different buying/selling strategies on COMC. Some work, some don't.

I've had eBay sales (through COMC) that took a few weeks to complete, but never two months. Maybe it's a eCheck that is having trouble clearing? You could try contacting COMC on facebook, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for an answer.

Is that 400 auctions or 400 cross-listings or a combination? Just wondering.

I have never sent them a single penny (Unless i sent them a few bucks to get started back in the very beginning I can't remember)........I probably have cashed out around $30,000 a year so that is not far off a half a million dollars in all the years that Have been with them... And I have Around 70,000 cards...also a couple other accounts..........Getting the money has never been a problem anyway.

Auctions only - I separated out the 'auctions' from the 'buy it nows' that are cross listed.

These are just the new auctions listed each day.

Well, they asked for a 1-2 week buffer from what their shipping estimate was and now we're 3 weeks from when they said they would estimate shipping would commence. Nothing has changed. Nada. I emailed them again five days ago and have not heard a peep.

They just hired 50 people. They may be inept, but they're making money hand over fist. They get 5% on every transaction. Think of all those Luka Prizm rookies that changed hands in august.

If the card market crashes things may changes. The cash flow argument may have a basis. But for now it is speculation that has no legitimacy.

I'm not a COMC lapdog. I've been fairly critical of them in this thread and am 100% on board with the shipping concerns brought here. But the problem for me is there is no alternative. I hate dealing with buyers and shipping cards. Starstock just isn't attractive to me.

The best way to show COMC that things have to change is stop using them cold turkey. COMC is like a bad girlfriend that we keep coming back to because there is no alternative.

Same here...I see people buying cards that I posted back in 2013 and are now trying to flip. All's I can say is "God's speed, little card."

I think they are capping them at 400 because they are getting more than that. I sent in 6 cards together to be auctioned a few weeks ago, and they did one on each day spread out over a week.

I submitted 3 cards for auction on March 3rd and it is still listed as 'in process'.

I just checked, mine showed up on 2/24, were scheduled to be listed by 3/5, and were actually listed from 3/7 to 3/13.

It does look like they are trying to slow things down a bit to get caught up, but that just puts them further behind in another area.

Also, I'd still be in favor of the idea of stopping submissions for a couple of weeks, but that just means they'd get overwhelmed again when they opened them back up.

The 50 new hires certainly haven't done much by looking at the ebay feedback as well as the experiences of users here.

Wouldn't you consider working weekends or adding a shift if you truly cared about digging out of the hole?
