Posey and Bumgarner were a joy to watch from the time they showed up in the Giants system. They are 2 of my favorite players ever.

For the record, I'm not a sealed wax "investor" and I don't have investment boxes (in that I don't plan on realizing any potential gain, though my children may...). I just choose to collect my favorite eras, teams, and players behind a few layers of cello/wax/cardboard/plastic.

SteelCity is selling 2008 topps update mega packs for $160 now. Down from $185 a few months ago. Buy again now, or wait a little longer?

It’s one of the few ‘sure things’ out there —- with Sherzer heating up, I’d say ( if you’re holding long term ) buy! buy! buy!

Finally, just for shytes and giggles, decided I needed to add a 1992 Topps Gold factory set to my collection after 29 years:

I came across a 1985 red-white-blue factory set for just $300, but in the 5 minutes between me finding my brother to tell him since I had never seen one in-hand before and going back to the table to buy it, someone else grabbed it!

Wax heads, let me get your opinion on this.

I decided to to buy (2) 2018 topps update blaster boxes on cyber Monday. The plan is to hold and sell in a few years.

Well, they just delivered. I am not very happy with the condition though. Please see images below. Both of these boxes have been under some serious pressure at some point in their lifetime. The seller shipped them perfectly protected, so the damage occurred prior to shipping. IMO if I try to sell these, I am at a major risk of return due to the boxes having large creases. What do you guys think? Most likely going to return just to avoid a headache later on down the road.

Return. If it was from one of the big online companies they will replace no issue. I’ve had it happen to me.
