Topps Now Today Newsletter 6/18/2019…THE WISE WORDS OF THE WEEK ARE “NO MORE CREDIT.” Sorry but I am tired of carrying tabs for $100’s of dollars. If you are in the red, you will not get a card reserved starting TODAY. Also, I will be shipping all cards you have paid for and you will be forfeit other cards if the bill is not settled by the end of June.

LIVING: Get your orders in, less than 24 hours…for you SP chasers you can pass this week, these will all print healthy. This program is rolling again (for collectors, not flippers). Look for the #1-#10’s prices to go up…graded versions of course.
TOPPS NOW: PR’s will be dipping further as we get ready for the All Star game and most flippers need the cash to travel and get hotels so they will be cutting back. Look for video’s on Now on YouTube, going to be doing a 5 min blast each day…hopefully starting today.

Vader Pushing $20….FYI, Topps changed the back so it gives the New Hope Vader story not Return of the Jedi like it did for the first week. Topps said the old (or error) backs were not printed. See attached photos. All of my #1’s and #2’s have arrived….get your payments in ASAP

Interest with you guys is not picking as much as I liked. I sell them steady on eBay but that is just a wash. What is the collectability of this set in the future, is it a good investment? I will make the call after today as I cut the prices of all past issues to move these.

All of a sudden, Blackmon /99, /49, /10, /5 relics are "OUT OF STOCK" (as well as 1/1 that was already sold out yesterday shortly upon release).
Almost just an hour and half to go on the clock...
Too obvious Topps!

I assume they will sell these to Coors Field with generic background color (gray?) and have them sell it through their stadium store.

The Tatis base relics were not but the other Padres relics sold at the stadium were numbered to /3 and the Tatis supposedly was limited to /3 as well....or so I was told by the owner. Also have a photo of one of the numbered ones...so those are a wild card on value of what we buy from Topps. Makes me second guess my relic buys.

Some items from the Ohtani cycle hit game are now on MLB auction website.

The item second from top is a game used ball from the game "not hit by Ohtani" (plus ticket and dirt), so this might be a good indicator of how "valuable" the relic auto from Topps Now may be as well.
The actual game used ball from his triple is listed too, so we at least know that won't be used for the relic auto (I know none of the balls actually hit by Ohtani will be used for the relic)

Colorado won it's 2000 game in their team history last night, might be a card there? Seems like something they'd throw into regular sets though, rather then Topps Now. But you never know?
