18/19 Prizm Retail Hauls and Results

Thanks fellas, I appreciate it. The other cello was decent, 4 silver rcs with Porter Jr being the best.

I am going to go a head and break the rest I got (15 blasters 46 cellos tonight) at this point 3 Luka silvers are gonna cover my costs so why not have a little fun! I don't plan on sniffing # 4 tho

Just found a Walmart stock not even sure it’s a restock I don’t think anybody’s ever gone there, Ended up getting to mega boxes in the 10 hangers that were there. My third retail hall and this one was another success. I’ll update that scans later!

So far I’ve been very fortunate in my prizm basketball rips…. Opened 3 Cello boxes, 1 regular retail box and 2 Target Mega boxes and had the following breakdown

16 silver 3 rc (Luka, Evans, Holiday)
12 green

20 silver 2 rc (Bagley, Sexton) 1 freshman phenom
12 green (Luka, Ayton)

19 silver 2 rc (Luka, Brunson)
7 green

Retail 24 pack box
7 silver No Rc
4 green
2 red wave
Auto - Luka

2 Mega boxes were pretty bad with Shai Alexander red ice being the best card.

Not sure if anyone else has had an issue with the regular retail packs. The box I got from blowout, around half the packs were barely sealed or actually open (bottom of the pack). I know the box wasn’t searched because a Luka auto came out of it!

PS. Please don’t judge me on the “Rookie Card” top loaders… that was all I had in my car =)

The amount of Silvers currently on Ebay and seeing what they are selling for.....sheesh.....no way I would be busting retail. The value is not there to flip unopened product (still can't believe people are trying to sell blaster boxes for $30 and cellos for $15 on Instagram) and it looks like all the rookies are at $70 and below with the exception of Luka.

Last year you could make tons of money by opening and flipping. This year:

Well I am finally done busting. More info in the break section, but def a day I'll never forget. Blasters were pretty crappy all in all... I'll provide a more thorough analysis once I have more time to dig through everything.

Craziest thing is I hit ONE Luka Base Rc & 4 Silver Rc's today..

Based on my own experience, I get better offers (and field out a lot more ink ones) when I list a card with a higher price. Maybe that seller does too?

They are also running a promo right now (coupon code needed) if you spend over $100 you get $25 off or if you spend $50 you get $10 off - good until 12/15

I originally bought the megas online at the $50 price with no discount and now they are $45. I had the customer service rep return them (40 boxes he looked at me like I was crazy) and then I asked him if I could hold onto them and repurchase them with my other shopping. He was happy to be done with me and said sure as there was a line forming.

I walked myself over to the self checkout and ran multiple transactions of 3 mega boxes per transaction. They came to $116ish instead of $150ish per 3 boxes. I could have done 2 megas and a filler item to get over the $100 and get my $25 off but it was pretty busy so I was happy enough doing 3 megas per transaction.

The customer service employee wasn’t very friendly so I didn’t want to ask him to split my transaction 11 times and let me apply a coupon each time

Opened 2 mega boxes and 10 or so hangers then a single loaded blaster. Here are the results:

Other Trae Young was from my first retail break and I was happy to hit another solid auto! Only noticeable difference is that the new Young has a mean printer line going horizontally by his face.

As I mentioned before, aside from another Doncic it doesn't get much better than this. Had to run out to grab dinner and convinced myself to see if Target had been restocked and it hadn't but there were a few blasters left and picked one and out came the Wendell Carter Silver and Okogie Silver so it was just my day I guess.

I opened 1 FOTL and 1 hobby box, 3 sealed cello boxes and the best pulls were a Mo Bamba Silver (with a ding right in the middle of the card, thanks panini) and a Trae Young hyper. Ouch. I have 10 target mega boxes and I dont think I have the stomach to crack em at this point.

Whats funny is I was sitting on 2 cello boxes of 2017-18 prizm from the initial release last year, cracked those as well yesterday and hit a mint Donovan Mitchell silver. Atleast that made me a little happier.

Case 2 = 2

I saw a couple of swatch cards that looked like they might be patches, or maybe just swatches with more than 1 color. Hard to tell. If it was a patch it wasn't especially recognizable.

I updated the numbers for my Blaster analysis. I included data from the video I saw tonight and posts on this thread from auctionjmm, bradical, and chuckerr. Thanks for the data on your case breaks! Keep them coming!

I opened 5 walmart boxes and 19 cellos, No doncic silver, but did ok, got a knox silver, ayton silver, trae young pink ice, ayton green, lebron rwb, doncic rwb, miles bridges silver,

I'll add the (14) Pink Pulsar count to my analysis. Previously I had witnessed 15 Pink Pulsars in 3 cases. 14 Pink Pulsars in 4 cases does shift things a bit.

Just opened my retail box. I was bound to get a dud but man, this was bad:

Silver: 6 (no RC)
Green: 3 (1 RC)
Ruby Wave: 2 (1 RC)
Silver Insert: Bill Russell Hall Monitors
Green Insert: Miles Bridges Freshman Phenoms

I slow rolled the RC parallels. The Ruby Wave was from the Hawks...Omari Spellman. The Green was from the Mavs (!)...Greek Freak Jr. Finally, the auto was a Silver...from the Sixers. I was hoping for Charles or Dr. J, but expecting a World B. Free or Hersey Hawkins...and I got Eric Snow.

Is the Blowout break the 2 case blaster break done by matt4486 (link)?

If so, it looks like 0 Pulsars in the 2 cases.

welp I cracked and just opened 4 target mega's and hit another mo bamba silver, and I finally did it and hit a Luka Doncic silver in the 4th box! First box was 4 silver RC's (vanderbilt, preston, simons, bamba) and the doncic was in the 4th box last pack. I also hit a base auto of jrue holiday on the 2nd box.
