I was simply just going to follow Draymond Green once he got drafted (my all-time favorite athlete), but as I was watching the Warriors games, I really liked the group and just jumped on the wagon. I didn't think they'd win a title 3 years later, but it happened. Even when Mark Jackson was doing ISO ball, they were still really fun to watch.
I've never switched teams, but I do follow certain players throughout their career.

I'm a huge fan of Joe Haden, for example. The Browns...not so much.

Golden State is a great team. Better than the 95-96 Bulls? No way. If they don't win he title this year then this season really doesn't mean anything. If you think it does, go ask the Patriots how 18-1 feels.
Unfortunately some people will say anything to protect the image that Steph Curry is the greatest thing anyone has ever seen, even arguing that his team is at a disadvantage he has to overcome.

Hopefully, for his sake, he watched Lebron yesterday and saw how the greatest player on the planet should take over a big game on the road.

I want Dubs to win too but have a feeling Thunder will edge them out by 5 points

Record breaking teams don't lose. Think the Bulls and Celts that have the next best records. They got the rings.

Almost nobody thought OKC would get through these guys. I believe 4-1 was the consensus.

Yes, this would be a choke job of a season, just like it was when Dallas lost to GS after winning 67 games and just like when the Spurs lost to Dallas as the 2nd seed one year.
I'm not making excuses anywhere. I've thought the Warriors were the better team this year, but it's crazy to think that they're choking. They played the Blazers and curry was injured (this happens nearly every year, but he's their best player and MVP). OKC got lucky 1 game and that was game 1. If you play the series back over I'd say the Warriors have a higher % winning, but we play the game for this reason. OKC has to win 4 games, just like the mavs did vs lebron. I consider the mavs winning a chip more of an underdog role rather than this series because OKC has Westbrook and Durant. The sad part is that their biggest advantage isn't even that! It's their big men! I've never thought OKC has a death lineup when going against other teams, but OKC has their death lineup and it was shown to be better than the Warriors.
I don't consider them a letdown primarily because they just won the title and I think they face a bevy of great teams in the west with OKC, Spurs, Portland, and the others. Plus lebron in the finals isn't a joke either.

I consider big men fundamentals of the game. I praise Dwight because he has been the ONLY dominant big man on a team to take a team to a finals (Duncan with Parker/ginobli too, but those are great/amazing players). I've always believed that big men can change a game more than ANY position, but that's just my thought. I'd take a prime big man over any other prime position.

The Warriors weakness has been obvious IMO, that's big men/length. I mean Durant played curry because Durant can always keep something in front of his face so he doesn't get a clean look. Serge vs Draymond is ugly. Serge is a taller and Draymond is strength/small and ibaka can shoot the three which helps their spacing majorly. Then klay vs Westbrook is pretty even, but edge to Westbrook. Iggy/Robertson are the same almost and so are bogut/Adams. The bench goes to the Warriors, but they play minimal amounts. My point is that the length of OKC causes HUGE shooting woes for the Warriors. The death lineup of klay/Steph/Draymond/iggy/bogut doesn't compete with Westbrook/Durant/Adams/serge/Robertson.

Dude, I've had the Cavs and thunder predicted for a while. I put money on OKC to win the west months ago and then doubled down when they were down in the series with the Spurs. They were +600 when I took them and guess what, Steph isn't an MVP. Lebron is, but I'm a lebron homer. Curry is the greatest shooter I've ever seen and westbrick is still westbrick.

You've yet to type any opinions yourself.
Let's hear them.

Hope all you Thunder fans are Warrior haters have bet the farm on the Thunder tonight. Should be the easiest money ever made right? 1st half line and game lines should be the ultimate lock of the century.

I've given a lot of opinions between this thread, the RWB Super Star thread, and the ECS Finals thread.

Not sure what opinions you want but here's a few:
Is RWB a superstar? For Sure

Did Curry deserve MVP this year? Yes

Is Curry the best player on the planet? No, Lebron is

Who do I think will win the WCF? Most likely OKC, I've got to go with the odds at this point

That covers some of the big issues. What else do ya want?

The best team in the west during the season?

Who wins the chip?

Predictions before they happen, not after the fact.

How much did you put on OKC overall?

You sound like me.

I always wanted the Thunder but as the series has gone on longer and longer and I've let myself believe a little bit, man it's made me care even more. I'm fully vested at this point.

I literally probably have $3k more in GS value than I do in OKC. So financially I should want GS, but man, I just want this for KD and Russ.

Let's just say I started out with X and I put (1/3)X - 20 bucks on it. I actually already won half of it when they finished off the Spurs, but I managed to double down on the WCF.

Ok, so that's asking something different. Predictions vs Opinions.

Obv that Golden State was best during the West during the season.

Who wins the chip? Hard to say how it will play out, but I think Cleveland has a shot against both teams, but a better shot against OKC. Mainly because of home court advantage, which I know hasn't made a much difference to the Thunder thus far

Yeah, for real. Aside from the Jazz, OKC has been my "other" team for the last 5-6 years. Russ and KD are 2 of my favorite players and by far my favorite duo in the league. And now they need to take advantage of their chance for revenge against LeBron.

If OKC gets a double digit lead, it's over.
