That is interesting. $80 could be a bouncing point I’m going to look into straddles on this one. With the VIX so low straddles are priced fairly attractively right now

DMYD officially changed tickets to GENI today. I sold off a couple laggards today (FRX and VGAC) and moved a chunk to PLTR and a few other stocks.

The market LOVED the ticker change as GENI closed up 22% on its first day with the new ticker.

My trading account did stellar today... up 6.2%. MUDS also clawed back some of its recent losses. It was over $13 for awhile there.

Good day for CCIV as well(I think you're still into that one).

I am still in that one. Did well with my first time trading it, but down in my current position. Might sell out my position soon.

WOW! SKLZ up 35% today. It crashed hard, so I'm sure there's some correction involved here.

Not my idea but saw this and it's interesting. Plug Power failed to hold the mid line. It tried to bounce a couple times but has broken down recently. There's not much support and a long way to go down.

I’m glad I never got back in Plug. That company issued so many shares and just bleeds cash.

There’s probably a play on the downside but not with the risk for me. Puts on a bounce may work out well with this one.

This is another one of those stocks that got caught up in the market euphoria.

Yeah rough afternoon after a stellar morning... I ended up selling 50 MUDS to add a couple shares of COIN on the dip at $292.38.

That's never going to pass, will settle at 40%. Good buying opportunity if you had some dry powder.

Now it seems like market is coming back a bit. Should be an interesting final hour.

The capital gains tax idea has been floated around since the election. If you weren't smart enough to take heed and dump years-long holdings late last year, shame on you.

The world lives beyond a Roth. Money managers cannot use the protection of a Roth. The reason the market is getting hit is because your money managers (more important than the retail investors, 3/1 by volume) now realize that there the tax burden is double what it was last year on those years-long holdings.

Managers with legacy holds, Amazon, FB, AAPL, MSFT, these true legacy holdings are now all the sudden much less profitable than they were a couple days ago.

COIN keeps dropping. It’s below $290 in premarket. Will be interesting to see where it settles. I believe it’s initial announced dpo price was around $250... not sure it will fall that low.

We will see where the new tax rate shakes out. I am not sure it’s the done deal you are making it out to be.

Game over according to Reddit. (Link aggregates a bunch Reddit links and also provides some stellar commentary)

So is the $1m rule for the capital gains increase 1m in assets or 1m income per year?
