Grabbed one for for 640 today to give it a shot as a ripper im always gonna try at least one.

Cards look infinitely better in hand versus photos. All chrome is nice! Hard to follow the numbering and such but none the less some more cards to pop into the PC.

Dillon brooks gold auto /50
Joan beringer base /99
Rasheer Flemming base auto
Night owl equinox Jalen Brunson /20
Haliburton moonfall sp? I guess lol.

Certainly not a winner but I knew that going in. Was just happy to be around release eql.

Yes sir. This will still be better than 90% of boxes. If I sold everything it would likely come out to around 180-200. But alas I rarely sell so just something else to stash.

Hahahaha. It happens. When you rip as much as I do you are bound to have duds. No tears over here. I knew I was chasing a monster pc card that was unlikely. But I wouod rather my lcs get that money versus some breaker.

Prices are definitely dropping online. I think people are watching breaks. Down to $899 on ebay.

1500 ish. At eql inital release its a $4800 case. So a return between 25 and 35% seems about average for all products. If there had been a coop, curry, lebron, or wemby its more like 75%.

Thats whats crazy. There isnt a product released now that has a +EV. Its why I open for fun and I stopped worrying about returns.

That was pretty rough to watch.

But so was my box lol.

Packman's 4 box break has maybe $300 in cards in it. And they looked awful. Not a clue why anyone would open this.

It's like if you took Obsidian and told ai to make the sloppy copy of it, pump it out as quick as humanly possible.

Lol yes we all know it. And we all need to be reminded from time to time how these companies dont care about us. They haven't cared in years and thats not going to change.

Our community here represents a small portion of collectors. Unfortunately we do not reach as many as we would like. And since most Sheeple follow whatever social media says. The online card casino will continue as long as people cannot think or rationalize for themselves.

I know what im getting into. Ive ripped some amazing boxes and have taken a bath on some full cases. Thats why I stopped looking at it for value and I focus on the entertainment aspect. I can rationalize entertainment lol.

Not impressed with this release from the few openings I have seen. Totally different feel compared to the Topps Flagship and Chrome releases.

On thing that really jumped out to me. Topps finally getting the licensing has getting hyped up for years. All of their unlicensed basketball products have gotten trashed because of bad air brushing and the "pajama" feel. So they now have the licensing and they design the RPA's in this set to have the patch completely block out the team's logo/jersey. I just found that pretty funny. I do like the look of the rest of the cards in the set, that said, there is no way I would buy a box at retail, let alone scalper prices. I am going to be really interested it what the singles prices of all of this years Topps products look like in a years time.
