Lots of chatter that the Jets, Giants, and Raiders have all had some contact with the Titans trying to trade up for Cam Ward at #1 and I am here for it. Let the bidding begin!

Any team trading up for any QB in this draft deserves what they get, an average starter. A #1 overall QB should be a star.

There was a lot of hate towards Bo Nix last year- and a lot of people were wrong. Same thing this year with Ward. Nothing new.

So is DK Metcalf getting traded to the Packers or not?

My understanding is basically GB approached Seattle with a great deal. But Seattle was never shopping him. So kind of a weird situation. Seattle was willing to listen to the offer, but they never had him up for trade. I don't think any other teams offered anything either. Kind of an odd deal. But GB and Free Agency are usually a disaster. They fluked last year with Jacobs. I look for them to get back to the norm this off season. Use their first round draft pick on a defensive bust, deal with no one in free agency and scratch their heads when they continue to just be good enough for a wild card one and done.

If this is true, it means that Sanders is definitely the sloppy seconds that none of these teams want to be left with. Clearly the Titans GM is smarter than Spytek, Schoen, and Mougey. They'll get a nice hall for the #1 pick and look like geniuses when Ward becomes average at best.

Nix didn't cost multiple 1st round picks though. Looks like Ward probably will.

Slay being cut by the Eagles. Thanks for everything #2, and thanks for helping bring the Lombardi trophy back to Philly!

Hope you get to play one more year with the Lions before you retire if that's your wish. Regardless of whatever else happens, you'll walk together forever with your fellow Eagles as Super Bowl LIX Champions!!

I'd say there's a possibility he returns on a 1-year deal, like they did with Fletcher Cox.

Lol, 100%.... "average starter" is a very big stretch for this draft class 2025 quarterbacks, sir.

I'd be amazed if any of them are starters in the league in 5 years... Milroe would actually be my pick (proven he can do ok in big games), but he's a backup or low end NFL starter, at best.

Lol, do you think their NCAA resumes are comparable? I mean... even a little?

Nix would've been far and away top QB in this 2025 draft. Not even close!

Both played 5 seasons

Ward 18,000 college pass yards
Nix 15,352 college pass yards

Ward 158 pass tds
Nix 113 pass TDs

Ward 37 picks
Nix 26 picks

To answer your question, YEAH, I DO. I would say that Cam was more productive- and I get it, different divisions, different competition, yada yada.

I am a fan of both, and both are gonna have great careers.

No tag for Darnold so he is almost certainly gone. Those last few games really killed him. He'll still get a bunch of money but not as much as before.

Well they need to do something because the group of guys they have now isn't cutting it. Kupp is still available. Though he isn't the youngest. I don't know who else they go for now that Deebo is off the board and Higgins is tagged. Amari? He's not young either.

James Bradberry getting released in Philly. Not a surprise, but I give him credit, he basically got benched and didn't become a distraction or a problem, helped out the rookies.

Darnold never had a chance (to stay in Minn).
Vikings don't trade up in first round to take a QB they're not going to give a chance to.
He could've led them to SB, still would've been let go in FA.

But yeah... last couple games hurt his pay in FA, no doubt.
Taking sacks on 4th downs... wtf, lol.

Saquon Barkley gets a 2 year extension, 41.2 million, $36 million guaranteed. Became the highest paid RB in NFL history.

Well deserved. He put this eagles team over the top to glory.

Good for the Chargers, they really need a receiver beside Ladd.

It's speculation based on rumors he wants to return to the west coast. The Rams are just as possible as the Chargers if Kupp leaves. I think he's a better fit for the Chargers because they lack the big bodied perimeter red zone threat the Rams already have in Puka.

But yeah, Adams, McConkey, and Palmer with Herbs would be very formidable.

I'd put money on Slyguy thinking it's the worst wide receiver core in all of football history.
