Ref pulls a yellow card on a player on the ground and the players continue playing what the f is this crap.

Is Angel Hernandez on the pitch?

I don’t understand why Fox Sports is dependent on a foreign feed for a game being played in the US.

This game from the field, the play, the camera shows we are just not a serious soccer nation and who knows when we will be one.

The camera had nothing to do with “us”.

Herculez Gomez going in on US soccer and Gregg on ESPN FC. Love it. So disappointing the tournament is over already.

There's zero embarrassment losing to a Bielsa side. The most underrated manager in global football for the last 30 years.

First off, put me in the "fire Berhalter" camp. And I say that as a fellow UNC grad. And while he's started to figure out what his best team looks like, it's taken so long to get here.

Second, this tournament just shows the truth about most teams outside the top 10 in FIFA world rankings - there is no margin for error. Win the Panama game and we are having a different conversation right now. Get a better verdict from one or two VAR calls in the Uruguay game and at least there is a silver lining. But since we got neither the sky is falling.

I thought there were a fair number of bright spots to come out of this tournament. Robinson continued to impress and Scally looked solid. Adams looked like he's almost back. Reyna played well although he's still trying to integrate into the team given his absences. Pulisic is just a cut above. Still concerns in goal, CB and the #9 but some progress there. The next step is putting it all together in the run-up to 2026 - and keeping the key guys healthy by the tournament.

Yeah I've largely supported GGG overall, but I can't go on from here. Ask yourself if the team has improved since the World Cup. I would say it definitely has not, and has probably regressed.

Plenty of blame can fall on the players. But, Herc and Carli both talked about the comfort level that players have with the manager, and how that's not necessarily a good thing. I don't tend to agree w/ Herc, but they are both right on this. Maybe there is a good comfort level so the players like and connect w/ GGG because he's chill and he "gets them", but that's not actually pushing and challenging the players in the right way. Sometimes, the coach you don't like as much is the one that helps you get results because he knows how to implement a system and motivate players better. The standard we're been seeing out of the players is not good enough both individually and as a collective, and I chalk a large part of that up to how the manager obviously isn't able to get the best out of them.

Did they miss out on Marsch as a potential management upgrade? They certainly missed him, and it may have been an upgrade. He accomplished with Canada what we could not. But either way, while there's plenty of blame to go around, it's time for a management change.

I thought McKennie looked good in the first 2 games but he was bad yesterday. Just wasn't sharp. Also I don't know that Turner should have been playing. His passing was awful, gave the ball back to Uruguay every time he touched it.

Pulisic is awesome. Maybe tried to do too much at times but you can't blame him for that. Reyna had a few nice moments yesterday but again you leave wanting more from him.

Think this gets it right - if Weah keeps his self-control, we're likely having a very different conversation about this team.

Mckennie, Musah, and Richards had a tough tournament, though Musah didn't play much. The biggest concern for 2026 is CB depth - the gulf in class between Ream and Richards/CCV was very apparent. Richards was incredibly loose with the ball in all 3 games, and CCV looked like an accident waiting to happen.

Definitely. I'm almost happier that they got the big spot vs Uruguay to see what they're made of though rather than the inevitable Knockout stage loss. Pressure is on ole Gregg now.
