That news actually makes me happy because it means we still have at least 1.5 months for Topps to possibly release Update Chrome and Sapphire. The three RC I care about most for 2021 are all in update and I stick to the shiny stuff.

Seems like Topps has time to just make this 2022 and get Wander in. But then all of the 2021 RCs would be vets.

Release date is now 3/31/22. Can anyone say "Opening Day" release! As long as there are no delays with baseball this year.

What??? I honestly didn't realize Topps can release previous year cards that late. That's ridiculous

Yeah they pushed pristine (4/27) and sterling (3/30) back 2 months as well.

I preordered this and 2022 S1 in the same order.

Both were over $199 to qualify for free shipping. Will blowout ship me S1 first or will they hold both until Topps chrome platinum is ready? Really don’t want to wait a few months after release to open the S1.

You’ll get the Series one on release date. They don’t hold preorders back if different products are ordered at the same time.

Are there any updates on this product? I pre-ordered last summer - and prices seem to have dropped recently. Still no release. Odd.

Also, is this the same product folks received at the the 70th Anniversary party?

Expected late March now. The product at the party was paper and did not contain the entire 700 card checklist. So it was different but could be some of the same images for the chrome cards.

I was so excited about this like a year ago. Now I barely care. If I could get a refund for my case I'd gladly do it at this point.

I’m still excited about it. With all of the parallels available I feel like these boxes will be loaded with color.

Maybe not a lot of demand so no priority to print. Can't explain why Topps would push this far out and make other products more priority. Hopefully a low PR for those that wait.
