Ohtani market looks really strong. A raw Update black just sold for $500. I picked up two for that price at the end of last season. Update base appears to have doubled in price too.

The 2020 season being delayed is good for Ohtani as he won't miss as many starts so he will add much more value to the team

It was really enjoyable to find this thread and get to scroll through months of recent pickups for people.

I just started collecting Ohtani PSA 10 RC's (a little more low end than some of the fire y'all have posted), so I hope to be adding to this thread very soon!

My number one thing i'd like to see? An inscriptions auto from Ohtani that says "Big Fly Ohtani-San"

You're technically allowed one minor printing defect. PSA has been very flexible in what they define a minor printing defect, clearly.

Corners were rough on the greens as they were packed out in retail. There is generally an inward bend on a top corner edge. He also needed to change his pen, as at least half are streaky.. though auto is not inclusive to grade.

Hey I was thinking about it the other day and PSA made a mistake on your Ohtani Green flip.

The set is '2018 Bowman: and is a 'Chrome Rookie Autograph'. '2018 Bowman Chrome' is a completely different set and features him batting. As proof of this, go check the pop report and you will see your card orphaned in the 2018 Bowman Chrome set amongst the BCRA-SOs. If it bothers you, I'd send it back in and get it fixed. Pretty basic mistake on PSA.

Common flagship error where the foil machine ran out of juice and shot a blank. Some people covet that kind of error but it's not too rare. They usually come out in batches till someone pulls the andon cord.

I'd have to go back and look at the original purchase as it was a BGS 9. I want to say there may have been a slight print line or something. Was hoping it'd be a 9 though.

Good catch. How do I go about getting that adjusted? Any idea what it should read?

I'd just call CS and explain the error. They will likely make you send it back and mark super express to expedite a flip fix. Here's mine.

Impossible. PSA has 2 Quality Assurance Checks. No way they made an error.
