Gimmicky autos are added for value. You don’t add expensive gimmicky autos to a valuable auto checklist. Just a theory, hopefully I’ll be wrong

A big card? I highly doubt it. I just sold his Topps Chrome rc ref auto for under $200 at auction. I’d say it’s a $10-15 when the dust settles with no chance of gaining value in the future.

And I don't buy the racism nonsense. People don't question Acuna's age do they? Juan Soto is from a place that has been proven to lie about ages to get their guys into MLB. The comparison to "young white players" is ludicrous, because we have a country that keeps up with records and tracks kids from such a young age it would be nearly impossible to lie about age. That isn't the case in some other countries.

And for the record, I believe Soto is only 19 years old. If you are confident that he is too, you should take the comments about his age as a compliment to how well he plays the game. Life is too short to get your panties in a wad over a joke here and there.

Agreed. And the same journalists who are spinning this into a narrative on racism rather than a narrative on the documentation practices of other countries, are probably the same journalists who are writing articles bashing priests because a tiny percentage of their brethren have been involved in a gross scandal. So it's okay to joke about an old white man based on a stereotype but if you joke about a young hispanic man based on a stereotype then you are evil. Makes sense.

I would HOPE for Tebow, first and foremost. But I've speculated his people are wanting more per auto than Topps is willing to pony up.

Others I would hope for include Loaisiga, Franco, Marsh, Lange, Adolfo, Ademan, Neuse, Montero, Bieber, Matias, Baddoo, Lawson, Arozarena, Guzman, Ornelas, Patino, Mauricio and Hernandez, just to name a few.
