Honestly, the Gold Set might be the most difficult to finish. At least in my opinion in regards to the High Number

A little help if I can get it.

I've got a Tressina Bowling Wonder Man sketch (decent quality, a lot of color) in my Upper Deck bank and was just offered 5 epic purples for it, Gwen Stacy, Werewolf By Night, Adam Warlock, Mystique, and one other that escapes me, but not a major character.

I haven't done any trading, but I did just look at the values of the components the best I could and it seems pretty fair, seems to be about $10-$20 worth of Purples being offered for a $10 to $20 sketch card.

That said, is this a deal you (that is, anyone who cares to answer) would agree to?

This was discussed in one of the Marvel threads somewhere. It was said that if you use COMC to sell on eBay that you actually end up giving up 40% of the sale if you cash out rather spend on other COMC cards. That's what I remember. You're better off either selling on COMC or shipping it to yourself to sell on eBay was my understanding.

Yes, that is my understanding as well. It's more like 36% since COMC charges a 20% ebay listing fee, then COMC charges another 20% of whatever balance you take out in cash.

The only way this proposed deal works is if you have intention of offering the five purples for sale or if you need them for your set(s ). Decent quality sketches from this set are fetching ~20, so trading six of one for half-dozen of the other seems pointless unless you had a need for the purples.

I'd like some opinions on this: I just finished the Tier 4 base achievement and have been eyeing the Tier 4 Gold Sig, but don't want to buy any more packs. Would you think it would be fair to trade a base /99 Spiderman for three Tier 4 Gold Sigs?

Thank you for that, it's very helpful. I'm not really a sketch guy, and I do want to add some cards from the base set to my collection, but they don't necessarily have to be purples, so final question:

How many regular base singles do you think it would be fair for me to ask of someone for the sketch (assuming it is a $20 sketch)?

Look at COMC and look at the base prices. Majority of level 1 is a .25, Level 2 .50, and Level 3 $1-3. I think a lot of UD pack contents end up there.

I'll do just that. I've never looked at COMC, so here's a good reason to do it now. I had no idea there were 25 cent cards from this set.

Oh to clarify I guess you can't ask for 80 Level 1's for your sketch but you get the idea. (20 plus?) Also you could get a lot for your gem and mirage. Anyway good luck trading!
