My sister was asking the same thing so I looked it up I found some place called Florida Bin Store. This is their address. 9409 W Colonial Dr, Ocoee, FL 34761
I believe they have a facebook page. It's about half an hour north of Kissimmee. I don't know how good it is.

Becareful with those BIN stores first there are alot of returns and people are good at making returns look better than they are and almost impossible to tell if they are used or not. Also have a lot of counterfeit and VERO items that pop up here. I am very very picky on these stores now.

Frustrating start to the year.

Had a $60 offer on a $100 Dolphins hat that had been listed for a year...figured it was end of season, so I accepted it...got an instant cancellation from the buyer, which I did not accept, thinking I could give him a NPB strike...nope, now it is just sitting in my orders, I can't cancel it or anything.

Sold a True Religion Jean Jacket for $100, nothing wrong with this thing at all...get a return request from the buyer saying it, "Reeks of BO & Cheap cologne, and that they had to put it in a plastic bag because they were getting headaches"...well, that is BS, but I accepted the return b/c #@#@#@#@ you, you can't keep the coat for free scammer...contacted eBay CS incase they try to switch the item on me w/ some dirty ass coat.

Lastly (and this one is partially on me) had a guy email asking for measurements on a Jazz shirt...didn't get back to him right away he messaged me a 2nd time the next day...should have blocked him then...anyway, i didn't he bought the shirt, only to find my inventory was off and it was a different Jazz shirt I still had...I apologized, gave him 25% off if he wante the replacement shirt and sent him FIVE pictures of the replacement...he understood, was appreciative of the 25% refund, and wanted the shirt....HE opened a return because the OG shirt was V-Neck and the replacement was Crew Neck...there were 2 photos showing that in what I sent him...again, I accept the return b/c #@#@#@#@ you, you can't keep the shirt for free.

Frustrating start to the year. I think I'm going to try to find another eBayer in KC to buy all my clothing at liquidation prices...anybody interested?

This has been my Ted Talk.

Yeah I’m very careful about buying stuff to sell from there I list everything as open box but have had no issues with the stuff I have bought. I have picked up stuff I know is new and sealed not things with a lot of pieces and things that are official name brand. I have mostly sold dvds and refrigerator filters. The bin store where I’m at is run by a reseller so she does a great job in bringing quality merchandise

Strange that oem refrigerator filters would get vero You would think. I think I sold lg one time but I have not found any whirlpool or lg at the bin store. I bought kenmore and General Electric.

Speaking of bin store I went back today not the best inventory day ever but did find some kind of car diagnostics thing that sells for 85 and a set of magic tree house books new that sells for $40 and some kind of like motherboard for a computer I’ll have to do more research on that but still fun to look through the bins

I started thrifting again off and on, and I am at the point where I wont even shop in a Maryland thrift shop. The prices are absolutely ridiculous in our goodwills. $70 for a used juicer, $40 for old beat up ski boots etc. Luckily Delaware is only 20 minutes. They tend to price everything the same. Games $1.99 Jeans $6 etc. They dont ramp up the prices because an employee thinks something is woreth a fortune.

Is it an SD card type thing? If so that is a very likely slap was warned about it by another seller on Fscebook

Now you can find some good stuff, I went in one time and spent 300.00 on 8.00 day. 10 of the items were unopened Magic collection boxes that sell for about 50.00 each Also got 5 Video Cards for computers that sold on for 250 to 300 each. I listed them while in the store and had sold 2 before I even left.

As far as the filters go LG only wants them sold through licensed dealers. Several companies are that way.

No it is some like plug in dongle type thing that connects to an app. It's made by a company called ThinkCar. They sell the same exact one at autozone. Nice scores. I haven't found anything like that before. Yeah fortunately I have not had trouble selling refrigerator filters I sold a few over the weekend.

Sounds like an ODB-II dongle, for reading the info from a car’s on-board computer. If it connects to a mobile app, I assume it’s got Bluetooth or wifi built in too.

Default Thrift Shop Pickups

Well the Bin Store delt me my first blow. A DVD set that apparently someone faked dvds resealed them to look brand new and sold them on Amazon that came into the bin store. Happens from time to time. One of the sets was perfectly fine this one was not but because they were new I wasn’t going to open them up. Sucks because it was $100 sale. Probably a common scam on media on Amazon I have heard it happening all the time especially considering FBA items (which it probably was)

Edit-people on Amazon who bought this item reported the same problem. Either the manufacturing was bad or the seller made fake dvds.

I was watching thrift school last month as he bought a pallet of overstock dvds and someone stashed weed in 3 dvds

My Goodwill have jacked up most prices to retail pricing.

About the same time all the sport, non sport and Pokemon cards disappeared along with any type of sport jerseys and even bobbleheads.

I did find a George Bush autographed book today just by using the force. $2 score.

Best thing is to google your area + amazon bin store or area + amazon liquidation stores

Someone on here said Oliver North autos were easy to find.

Went in to a thrift store today saw one of his books on the shelf, looked and sure enough LOL

I haven't been to goodwill here since I saw target merchandise on the shelf for more than it costs at target.

I will have to say that this thread is exactly what got me into picking and thrifting as a hobby. I started about a year and a half ago after just selling a few here and there on eBay. Now, this past year, I cleared over $20k.

Mid to late December was rough on the picking front. It’s traditionally a super slow time with little to no sales. I can’t wait for spring when sales really pick up.

Like others have said, the thrift stores and Goodwills around here are beyond ridiculous in prices. My example is cast iron is cast iron. The thrift stores know some is valuable so they jack the price on it all. Pans that are worth $8-$10 are priced at $20.

I’ve had a couple nice pickups lately. One, oddly enough, was at Goodwill. I picked up roughly 100 vintage Korean War maps for $15. I ended up selling them in similar lots for $600.

Just recently, there’s been an ongoing estate sale in an old mining town close to me. The best it can be described is of a hoarder with money and fine tastes. The sale has been going on for 5 weekends with another 4-5 weekends planned. Tons and tons of antique kitchenware and glassware along with tons of clothes. Like more than 500 pairs of brand new shoes. There is just so much stuff, with most of it being new. Over the past couple weeks, I’ve zeroed in on Ralph Lauren clothing (little past experience with clothes). All the shirts are $2-$3 and they sell very well. Sold one shirt yesterday for $70.
