Adding to what TBP stated, super shady grading practices, most variation in grading standards, idiotic leadership that lacks basic hobby insight, and horrendous customer service. No TPA is perfect (I have plenty of gripes with PSA) but they don't even pretend to care.

That said, if that card I want is only in a BGS slab, I'll buy it after using my eyeballs to inspect general condition.

It's OK, we usually kill him on the mound whenever he doesn't manage to "miss" pitching against them. And as someone in here pointed out earlier, the Astros are owning Ohtani too, so he wouldn't be very helpful to the Yankees to finally no longer be owned by the Astros.

Congrats on the pull and grade. There’s a live PSA 10 green at $5,600 with 5.5 days left. I’d keep an eye on that sale and decide whether you want a congruent amount

I know you didnt ask me, but If you have an understanding of mathematics - specifically statistics - then do a search for Eagle Eye Joe here on Blowout and read the full story.

I will never use BGS again.

I went through some of my boxes and pulled out my Ohtani and Acuna. I did sell two chrome rc prizm and his update black a few years ago.

Just wanted to thank everyone who came to my booth this year at the National Sports Convention. I had 3 showcases of Ohtanis that kept me very busy. Made some great pickups, sales were great and came home with a couple more Autographs, including rookie Auto and Transcendent 1/1 auto.........Gracias!!

So with the Yankees and Mets ineptitude it would seem they're both out on Ohtani. I don't think that will affect his contract as I think the west coast teams will be in a huge bidding war. However, if he really only cares about winning he should sign a short term deal with the Braves. Replace Ozuna with Ohtani and add him to the rotation, that team could win 120 games.

But if he wants to win and stay on the west coast the Dodgers are an absolute no brainer. And I don't like saying that.

Now you've jinxed it. I had the same thought but didn't want to ruin it.

LAD seem like a no-brainer for him at this point though (which is part of the reason I wanted the Braves to go all in for this year).

Is there any report out there saying that he even wants a long term deal? Maybe he will pull a Durant and just keep moving around looking for the best path to the ws. Its not like he's exactly hurt for money.
