Decided to finally create an account to ask, has anyone spotted a 2022 FF Power Kings Ohtani PSA 10 recently? They're a pretty tough grade with the centering and I've haven't seen any inspiring raw copies on ebay. Only owning the flame throwers in a PSA 10 (a very underrated Ohtani insert imo) feels a bit wrong.

That's a tough card to grade. Nothing to be ashamed of. Let me know if moving ;D

I sent it in with a bunch of cards to PCSportscards to grade. I was going to keep it if it got a 10 but I think I'll probably just consign it with them as a 9.

Damn I agree with True. I have 4 cards that are 9s and 2 raws that may not get a 10. Tough card to grade.

Some 9's are better than other 9's and some 9's are better than 10's.

Just got this one in today and she's a 10 to me.

I swear PSA has had some graders tighten way down. I see 8s that look like 9s and 9s that look like 10s.

Inconsistent to say the least.

I picked up a PSA 10 BC Auto last month for 13K. Sold my PSA 9 for north of 10K. Thought I made out great. I'm convinced my PSA 9 looked better. I miss it lol.

It’s a crappy feeling paying for a 10 that clearly isn’t. Caveat emptor. It’s a shady industry this grading thing.

There's plenty of 9s that look better than 10s but have a surface flaw, corner nick, or back edge wear disqualifying them despite great eye appeal. There's nothing shady about it. PSA 10s do not claim to be perfect cards - they just have criteria that fall within parameter. 9s can also be fantastic value.

I will.also add that there are 9.5s that look better than 10s. But BGS still sucks.

For real. I've scored two BGS 10s and they were both turds. Sold them so fast. Trust your eyes and verify with the grade.

Is there a specific reason you don't like BGS? I don't care one way or another but I've noticed your displeasure with them lol
