Very short print which explains not seeing them. Sepia were retail only. I used to own a Sepia. Traded it a few years ago towards an even shorter printed Black & White which are more rare and were in Hobby Boxes only. Sepia has more of an orange-y look. Personally, I prefer the B&W. My B&W was recently sent to PSA. It better not come back labelled "sepia". lol

PR on the black and white ~35. PR on the sepia ~125-140.

I keep on mentioning in this thread that we should come together as a group and create print run information on all the 2018 Topps products Ohtani is in. But no one ever responds or messages me.

Thank you and it’s a good idea but sometimes print run information is really hard to track down. The unnumbered chrome parallels are where it gets tricky as especially nowadays nobody knows how many regular cards are being produced to get an idea on how many parallels there actually are.

Sharp looking card, funny thing I almost threw the sepia rc in as an extra in a trade looking back I am very happy I chose something else.

Wow thanks for the info. I was always under the impression that the sepia was in the 200-300 range and the B&W's were in the 100-200 range. It's nice to see these have an even lower PR than I originally thought.

I can't guarantee that the PR info is 100% correct, but another poster posted that info on this board awhile ago.

Not surprised at all as I told you 3 weeks ago. Glad you didn't sell like you were saying!

Great choices Eric! I need to get another Heritage Action Variation, sold mine when I needed funds and that one hurt.

Well I bought tickets to the game in Atl on Wednesday thinking Ohtani would pitch but looks like he’s not going. Really sucks because we don’t get the Angels in town often. Does he normally go more than 5 days between starts?

The heritage chrome refractor is definitely on my list. Just a bit higher than I want to pay right now. Do you mind me asking how much you picked it up for?

And there's finally an Update Red Refractor at auction now. Can't wait to see what that one goes for. I bought mine raw for $160 a few years ago . Those come up for auction only once a year it feels like
pretty sure you can extrapolate based on this sale last week

Mark Canha was traded from the Mets to the Brewers today, which reminded me of his adventures with Shohei.

The crazy thing about the MVP buyback is that people that pull parallels need to seriously question whether it's worth the store credit or if the card itself is worth more. Was clearly not a problem last year.

If teams are just going to plunk and intentionally walk him, I guess we can turn the games off.

Uncle Charlie is notorious for that back foot slider plunk.

This shouldn't be a surprise. The same thing happened to Judge last year chasing Maris' record. He led the league with 111 walks with 19 intentional. By mid-September he was lucky to get one pitch an at bat that was actually a strike to hit.
