I have some additional advice for flipping vintage cards. You do not need to have the lowest price on your cards as long as your card has eye appeal (for me centering) and your price is within reason and you card shows up on the first page of search results. In general stay away from vintage with 12+ copies unless your flip allows you to re-price as one of the lowest prices.

I have purchased a lot of 70's sharp commons for $.10 or less and they pretty well over time. Flipping helps to pay my storage fees so that is a bonus.

I personally use the watch list and track pricing within the notes. I keep track of the lowest price an item is. It especially helps when items are on sale as you can easily determine if it's a true sale or not.

Last couple of flips. The O'Neil was a nice one. May have gotten more since he is hot, but almost 2.5 times.

The Torres I got graded and flipped. Disappointed it was only a 9 (surface was 8.5), but still made $23.

My watch list is 99 pages right now. I am always buying items. I wouldn't be able to use this method if I was always trying to sell at the top of the market.

Always getting them from you but by the time I log in they are cancelled

It's a bad habit that I'm trying to stop. I've been spoiled by sellers who always have auto-accept on.

I go out of my way to avoid sellers on COMC who hurt the marketplace by pricing everything absurdly. There are times when that method is appropriate (Manaea no hitter), but that's a very small percentage of my sales

I'll always buy from sellers whose cards are priced at or near market value. There are about 100 sellers on COMC that I consistently buy from because they price fairly. I am always looking to add to that list and appreciate the sellers that don't waste everyone's time.

Don't forget to be on the lookout for jersey numbered cards that COMC haven't listed the serial number for (and then put a correction request in)
